tactical series

Do you need police gears? Or are you into tactical outdoor activities? You might be interested with the 5.11 Tactical website in case you want to know more about guns or if you want to purchase guns and accessories. They also sell footwear, bags, jumpsuits, gloves, and a lot more. I'm sure if you're into these kinds of things, this website would be such a haven for you.

educational tools

I believe that kids should be exposed to different multimedia educational tools for more effective learning process. This also makes it more fun for children to learn. It makes them look forward to learning since they enjoy it. There are a lot of kids educational games available which can be used as an alternative way of teaching kids. Studies show that this is actually more effective rather than just using straightforward teaching which can easily bore children. This method usually fails to catch the attention of children whose attention span is really short. One should really make use of creative means when teaching children. Computers can be used for this. There are a lot of educational software and math software that can be used wherein children will surely enjoy using. It builds confidence and enhances critical thinking skills. Using these helps achieve learning success! I remember my dad buying us all these different activity books when we were still kids for math and reading which we really enjoyed answering. Now these are even available as software where you can use in the computer which makes it even more interactive and more fun to use. These can be great gifts to give to children this coming Christmas season.

A few more days to go

My birthday is coming up soon! I'm really excited. I hope all my friends I invited can make it. I know some are going to the province since it's a long weekend.

Anyway, I'm excited to cook for my friends. I'm still brewing up the menu for my birthday. I hope everybody likes it.

It would be really nice to do some catching up with my friends. Some I haven't seen for months already. It would be a really great treat to see them again on my birthday.

money! money! money!

I'm in constant search of other ways how to earn money. I would love to invest as much as I can in mutual funds and let the power of cumulative interest works its way. It's just really great that there are a lot of online opportunities that can be taken advantage of in terms of earning extra income. I have signed up to some sites which offers blog monetizing schemes. I hope I can earn a lot from this since cash really comes in handy. I guess I'm just preparing myself to becoming a stay-at-home-mom. I know it's a little to advance to think about it since I'm not yet married (and I'm not yet having a baby). Well, I just love that I don't have regular work hours. I only stay at home and still earn decent money (actually, even more than what I was earning before!) Cool!

my new camera!

I'll be getting my new camera by December!!! I can't wait! My dad has brought me an Olympus Stylus 770! SW Well, 'll actually be paying for it but I just requested him to buy it for me since it's cheaper to buy abroad. Here's the write-up made about the new camera that I'll be getting:

Introducing the world's most durable digital camera — the Olympus Stylus 770 SW. You can drop it (from 5ft), dunk it (to 33ft), freeze it (-10°C/14°F) or even try to crush it (up to 220lbf), and it will still take amazing photos. But the 770 SW isn't all brawn and no brains. It features a bright 2.5" Hypercrystal LCD so you can easily compose, view and share your images underwater or in direct sunlight. Digital Image Stabilization (DIS) creates sharp, blur-free pictures, even if your subject is moving. And the 27 Shooting Modes, including movie with sound, allow you to master any shooting situation.

chocolates

I’ve been getting some inquiries about my chocolates lately, which is really good since its extra income. I do love making chocolates and it’s just a bonus that I earn from it. I’m thinking of making a separate website for it. Hopefully I’ll have time to arrange that just in time for Christmas season. Chocolates are great gifts to give during Christmas. Who doesn’t love chocolates, right?

10th year already!!!

Reposting from the Pisay 98 blog, written by dacs:

Hey folks! Next year is our 10th year out of high school (really?!). This is the time we usually start giving back to Pisay, and the time when we are already expected to make a sizeable contribution for the success of Homecoming 2008.

Let's get together to talk things over regarding our funds (or LACK thereof, actually) and what activities we could have for our 10th year. Doesn't really have to be bongga, but definitely we should celebrate somehow.

Please reply to this post with your suggestion for the DATE AND VENUE of our batch get-together (a lunch or dinner, perhaps?), where we can talk about our plans for Year 10. From your suggestions, we could probably make a poll and let folks vote to settle the details. Let our goal be to have this meeting before 2007 ends :D

Salamat! :)

online casino

Want to play some poker? I’m all in! I really do miss playing poker lately. The last time I think was around a month ago already. I had so much fun then. I didn’t win much but seeing my friends again was all worth it. It was nice hanging around with them again. I know we all are busy and schedules are a bit hectic.

Oh well, I’ll probably invite them for a poker session on my birthday. That would be really nice. I hope I win good money that day. Hahaha! Well, I just want to see them again and see how they’ve been doing. I hope they would all be available on that day.

Well, I have to practice on those poker skills again. I got to sharpen my strategies. It’s not all about luck! There’s a bit of thought process in it. I’ll probably practice on some online casino. You can either play for real or for play money. Which ever the case, it would be a nice brush up on how to play poker.

got bad credit?

Getting a new credit card? Well, don’t just get the first one you see. Try comparing different ones and determine which one would be the best to suit your needs. There are a lot out there offering credit cards even to those with bad credit. Take advantage of their good deals! These can really be helpful with your finances. Learn to search for those who give such great opportunities that will benefit you.

options

Me and my sweetie have been talking about our future lately and what our options are when we get to settle down. Like, where do we live? Do we rent an apartment? Do we stay at their house? Do we buy a condominium? Do we look for a : land for sale and build our own house there? There's really a lot of options but of course each option has a cost connected to it. We're still not yet sure which ones we could afford. Oh well. I hope we get to save enough!

new house

Would you want to live in another country? Well, I personally can't imagine myself living somewhere else. Probably if it's only a vacation and not some permanent thing then I would probably consider. Or probably if I can bring along all my family and friends then that would be great (and impossible actually!). I would surely miss our house, especially my own bed. I can't imagine being away for so long. Well, if it's like a Scottsdale real estate that we'll be living in then I'm sure I'll enjoy living in that new house.

Disney!

Wouldn’t you want to go to Disneyland? I think every kid (and even those who are kid at heart) would love to go there at least once in their lifetime. But of course once may not be enough. You would want to go back over and over again. If only you can live inside that magical kingdom! I have only been to Disneyland in Hong Kong, but I would really love to visit the one in Orlando! If only I have enough money to go there and buy Disney Tickets. That would be a really good treat for myself! I hope someday soon I’ll be able to experience Disney again!

love online

Are you one of those who don't mind looking for love online? Well there are a lot of free dating sites where you can have free live chat or free phone chat with other people from different countries. It is one way to meet a lot of different people. I don't find anything wrong with it as long as you're honest with the people you meet online. If there's a spark between you and your new friend then that's great, if none, well, there's a lot more you can meet, online or for real.

earn online

Do you want to earn online? Well, it's not as easy as some would think since it still entails hard work. I've been doing some work online which has been a great source of income for me. You might want to try it out as well. There are a lot of sites which can help you start out and giIt may take time but it is doable. As I've said, it needve you lots of tips on how to succeed in earning money online. It's important that your site has a lot of traffic and would land on on top search pages. s a bit of hard work. Check out allinanchor.com for tips on earning online.

car problems

My bestfriend is having problems with their old red car again. It has been conking on them a little too often lately. Every now and then they've been replacing some auto accessories. It's just a good thing that they haven't met an accident yet. One time they were going down hill and the brakes just weren't working. Good thing they were able to stop by the road side without hurting anybody. I hope their car problems get solved soon and that their red car won't give them problems anymore. I know cars can really be useful but they can really be costly to maintain.

Hannah Montana

My cousin is so into Hannah Montana, one of Disney Channel’s teen pop sensations. She has been asking her parents if they could catch one of her shows. She’d kill for those Hannah Montana tickets! Her concert in North America is already sold out. I hope my cousin gets her wish. I guess early teens are into these stuff. My sweetie’s sisters are so into the High School Musical.

watching plays

I miss watching plays. Even when I was still in grade school I was already watching theater performances. It’s been ages since I last saw one. I think it was around 3 years ago, back in college. Oh well. I wish I could watch one soon. Any plays you can recommend? Lion King is one of the top theater shows in the states. I’m sure a lot would love to get their hands on some Lion King tickets.

natural herbal products

Have you tried any natural herbal products for Colon Cleanse, Hair Loss, or Weigh Loss? There are a lot of products which are actually available for these treatments. I know some are apprehensive to use these kinds, but there are sites available which would show reviews done by those who have tried these products. I have read reviews about colon cleansing products and somehow make me want to try the products myself due to the testimonials given by other users! There is also a forum where you can find almost every answer to your questions about the products

sem break

It's sem break again! I think a lot of students would love to take a long good vacation after a semester full of long hours of studying and finishing school requirements. There are a lot of options that they can take on how they would spend their vacation. They can actually go swimming or go mountain hiking or just bum around in the house and watch all those dvds or probably hang out in the mall and watch movies or play at the arcade. What would really be great is if they can go and enjoy themselves in theme parks like the ones in Orlando and stay in those florida hotels.

shopping online

Have you started with your Christmas list already? I know it’s a little early for some, but it’s never too early for me. I want to give meaningful gifts and not standard ones. I want my gifts to stand out so that the recipient would remember me through it. I enjoy giving gifts during Christmas. Just seeing their smiles is enough satisfaction for me. I don’t generally love shopping, but I do like it when Christmas season comes.

Since I don’t love the crowd, I love shopping online. It’s much more convenient doing that. No need to go to malls filled with holiday shoppers. No more waiting in line. No more asking for stocks for a different size or a different color. Online shopping is really fun, specially having a virtual shopping cart where you just add all the things that you want to purchase. Their shopping cart software is really great with all the features shoppers would really love. No more waiting in line to pay all of it! Sometimes they even wrap it up for you! Online shopping is really cool!

baby blessings

Don’t you just love it when you hear of birth announcements from friends and family members? Babies are really God’s blessings. Their innocent smiles really do bring instant joy. I wonder when I’ll have that opportunity to have that kind of announcement. The thought actually excites me. Oh well. In God’s time I know I’ll have a family of my own and experience having my own baby.

your room

A bedroom is a personal space of an individual. How you design your room reflects your personality as some would say. The type of furniture, color scheme, and styling says something about you. Are you into bold colors or pastel ones? Are you into animal print bedding or floral ones? Well, however you prefer it, what matters is you are comfortable with it. Don’t be afraid to experiment with your room. Celebrate your uniqueness. Personalize it all you want! That’s your private space anyways.

luxury home

My sweetie’s aunt’s family is moving to another house soon. Her husband has talked to my sweetie about it and is offering it to us since he knows that we’re probably planning on settling down soon. I’m not yet sure what the terms would be but I actually got excited with the thought. I know we sometimes dream of living in luxury homes, but this house ain’t bad, especially for a starting couple. Probably after a couple of years when our family has grown and we’re earning bigger, then we just might be able to get one of those luxury homes.

bluetooth

Don’t you just love the new technology available nowadays? I sometimes really get surprised at how innovative new inventions are in order to provide more comfort to people. It’s amusing how certain gadgets work! Have you tried using a Bluetooth headset? I’m sure you’ll enjoy using a wireless head set, since those wires usually limit our movement. Bluetooth is really cool. I wonder where else we can apply this technology,

watchin those series

I am so into watching those super nice series. Grey’s Anatomy is my favorite lately. I just love their new season! I’m so excited on what’s going to happen next! I also look forward to the new season of Smallville which is on its 7th season already. Too bad Alias is done already. I wish I can watch their entire episode from the previous seasons. I better buy a DVD of it if it’s available. I would also love to have a collection of all the FRIENDS seasons as well as Ally McBeal. Those were my all time favorites! I wish somebody would give them to me on my birthday or for Christmas! Well, I’ve got some videos of prison break. It was recommended by one of my friends who were so into that series. I wish I have a portable DVD player so I can watch during my lull time when we go traveling this coming weekend. That would be really great! I’m glad somebody invented a portable player which you can conveniently bring anywhere! I’m excited to watch all the episodes to keep up with the new season.

Room makeover

Our study room really needs a makeover. I’ve been spending more time there since the computer is there and it really is not that conducive for working since it’s all cramped up with a lot of stuff. It has become a storage room actually. It’s a little disturbing at times working there. It would really be helpful to have more storage accessories for ease of organization. It would be more orderly and stylish having those. A stereo cabinet would also be nice so I can transfer the stereo there so I can have some music while working. Oh well. I hope I’ll have time soon to give it a makeover.

bad credit

Afraid to apply for loans due to bad credit history? It can be tough indeed, but there still are others who approve loan applications despite having bad credit. You just really have to be good enough to be able to get such good deals. To help you, there's a site which actually compiles all these great deals which might be really useful for you. Check it out!

Biggest loser

I love watching that show. It's very inspirational to see those fatso's turn into hunks and babes after a couple of months. Some have even lost more than a hundred pounds! Darn! If only I could be as disciplined and determined like them.

Anyway, me and my sweetie along with his 2 friends decided to have a biggest loser competition. We had already our weigh in last Sunday. Next weigh in would be on Nov 4 (my birthday) and Dec 2. The one with the highest % loss would win 300, 200, and 100 respectively from the lowest, 2nd lowest and 3rd lowest % loss. And then on Jan 6, the final weigh in, the one with the highest % loss would win 1000, 750, and 500 respectively from the lowest, 2nd lowest and 3rd lowest % loss. That's a lot of money! Well, I hope I do get to lose weight from this contest. Gotta come up with a great plan for this. I hope I win!

fishing

One of the things that I've always wanted to experience is to go fishing. I think that would be exciting. I have watched some people do some fishing by the bay once and it seemed so fun, although of course one needs to be patient since it's not that easy catching fish. I want to experience using a fishing tackle and putting worms as bait and be able to reel in a live catch! Some uses shrimp as bait but I think that might be more expensive than what I can catch! Hahaha! Well, I really hope I can try fishing soon. My dad used to do that with his friends. He even owns his own pole. Well, I can probably borrow that for my first fishing adventure!

house issues

I enjoy talking and planning the future with my sweetie. We've been thinking on where to stay after we get married. I absolutely do not consider living at their house. Not that I don't like being with his family, but I want us to enjoy our being a couple independently. Even if they say that the in-laws won't dip their fingers on how we live our new lives, I still want to live in a separate house. I don't mind visiting them every weekend, that's fine with me, but I just really want a place we can call our home. Hopefully we'll find a nice one. A small one would do since it would just be the two of us. I'm already excited to furnish it and personalize it so we'd both be comfortable with our new place. We'd probably put some quoizel lighting to make it a little stylish. Good lighting really makes a difference in one's house. I would also prefer a place with a garden since I love plants. It would be refreshing to have different flowering plants around. Anyway, I just hope everything will fall into place.

online academic library

My best friends Andrea and Ramil are both teachers. I love hearing their school stories and adventures as a teacher whenever we meet up and catch up on each other’s lives. Teaching is really a noble profession. It is not an easy feat. You always need to be prepared for your class especially if you have witty students who almost ask about everything. Good thing there is the internet, the gateway to loads of information. They always make it a point to read a lot of books and articles related to what they’re teaching. They can browse through Over 5,000 FREE Books at Questia’s online academic library. Having this virtual library is really cool! No need to keep those heavy books which just accumulates dust in your book shelves. Questia is really a great resource pool for information. You can almost find everything here. Of course having these materials easily available online doesn’t become an excuse for students to just copy and paste assignments from these sites. That’s plagiarism. They still encourage their students to read and understand their lessons. They’ve had experiences wherein students just hand over home works wherein it was so obvious that they were just copy pasted. They even checked it online and it was exactly the same from the first result given by Google.

Paypal in the Philippines

Yep, you can now receive money in your paypal account in the Philippines. I've tried it and it works! I have now forwarded all my paid to blog accounts to my own paypal. Well, I haven't tried withdrawing yet since I need to do a couple of things first since my paypal is not yet verified and I need to apply for their expanded program in order to be verified (or add a US bank account, which I do not have). This task is a little tedious since I lost my cash advance pin for my credit card which I need so I can view my credit card transactions online. So I first have to apply for a new cash advance pin which I already got, but then I found out I need to have a security device before I can use the online feature. Well, I requested to pick it up instead next week rather than wait 15 more banking days to have it delivered at home. *sigh* so tedious! Anyway, I have also applied for Union Bank's Eon Card so that I would be able to transfer money there from my paypal account and then withdraw it in cash.

Scrapfest 4

I enjoyed last Saturday's Scrapfest! The kit was really superb! There were a couple of patterned papers, flowers, and other goodies. It even included a personalized tag!

Too bad I wasn't really prepared for the scrapfest that much since I was kinda busy the past few days and I didn't have time to print some pictures for scrapping for the challenges. Oh well. Sayang nga e. I promise myself that I'll be much prepared for the next scrapfest. Too bad it's gonna be on May 2008 pa.

Scrappin' Time!

Trying out the stamps at the demo table

Having fun die cutting!

Since I couldn't scrap much, I just used up my time shopping and using the die cut machines. I bought mostly patterned papers and flower embellies. I would've loved to shop more but my budget didn't permit it. The goodies really got me drooling and vowed that someday I'll buy one of those die cut machines for myself. Gotta save up as early as now for the next scrapfest!

Scrappin moms

Congrats to the Scrappin Moms for the successful Scrapfest 4. Congratulations also to Cabbie for winning the first Scrappin Idol! Congats to all the finalists and to all who won the challenges! You all have inspiring layouts!

Russian Dating

A lot are into chatting online. It’s so much easier to meet new people through chatting. Some even use this mode to meet potential partners. This can be local or international. I know of some who prefer partners from another country. A friend is actually into Russian Dating and is surely enjoying it even if he sometimes has a hard time communicating with her. They would usually use the webcam whenever they chat. He really is getting hooked on her already! I’ve seen the picture and she is really pretty. I just hope she’s being sincere with my friend or else he might end up heart broken.

Sierra and Anton's Wedding

Text from Sierra day after the wedding:
"We would like to express our deepest gratitude for making our wedding really really wonderful. We has such a great time yesterday. Everything was just perfect. Again, thank you very much :) Anton and Sierra"

Were you able to watch Lovapalooza a few years back when this guy proposed to his girlfriend on stage in front of thousands of people? It was even televised. I, myself, was able to see it on TV and couldn't believe I knew these people. They are Anton and Sierra.

I met them at the FOPC (Freshmen Orientation Program Committee) in UP Diliman where we were part of the Steering Committee. I was the head of UP CIEM and Sierra was the head of JPIA. Anton then was one her VP's.

Who would think that after all these years they'd pick me and my team to be their wedding coordinators?!?! Of course I was excited! Although I have to admit, I was a little scared since Sierra is a self-confessed OC. I was really praying hard that we get to give her the dream wedding that she wants.

We had several meetings before their wedding to ensure that every detail is taken cared of. It was actually a bit tricky since it's still rainy season and if it rains we'd have to hold everything at the Mango Farm Pavillion instead of outdoors (so that everybody can appreciate how nice the place is)

Sept 29, 2007 - Signal #1 (Typhoon Hannah). Wow, of all the days to have strong rain it had to fall on their wedding day. It was a bad start. I knew my bride was a bit weary already, but then it wasn't in our hands anymore and just had to leave it up to God. I just had to remind her that what really matters is their marriage not the wedding. She just has to let go if we need to go for plan B instead of the original plan.

It was just really great that in the afternoon God seemed to answer all our prayers and the rain stopped. Actually the caterer was a bit hesitant to set up the cocktails outside since it might rain again. Everybody was almost settled that we'll do everything inside the pavillion. It was really a big risk to take but I knew how much my bride wants to have it outside. I needed to push them to set-up at the last minute just in time before the ceremony ended. It was just a relief I made that right decision and nature was cooperative enough to give us a moment to enjoy the ambiance of the Mango Farm.

My pretty bride was beaming. And it felt good seeing her smile.

We were able to have the cocktails by the gazebo near the mango trees and they were able to have their pictorials outdoors. Noel Cabangon was also their to perform during dinner.

It was a pretty tiring day (not to mention that I had to make around 1,500 pcs of chocolate for their souvenirs a couple of days before). But as the event unfolded and things fell into place I was proud that my team was able to pull it through. It also felt great hearing compliments from the guests and the couple themselves.

Getting great feedbacks really takes away all my tiredness. It reminds me why I love doing these kinds of things. Oh and it's a bonus that we're able to book another wedding referred to one of the guests who loved our service!

Cheers to Anton and Sierra!

Scrapfest

I enjoyed yesterday's Scrapfest (as usual)! Hopefully I can join the contests next time. I wasn't really that prepared to go yesterday and actually arrived a little late. But I really enjoyed shopping. I'm planning to save up as early as now for the next scrapfest so that I can buy all the other things that I've been drooling over. I also super enjoyed the free use of die cut machines. That's one of the things that I'm really aiming to buy! Anyway, after yesterday, looks like I'm inspired to do some scrapping again! Let's see if I get to finish some layouts soon.

new credit cards

Credit Cards can really be your best friend especially when you’re buying appliances. There are a lot of zero percent interest monthly installment promotions that you can take advantage of. I realized that it would even be great if you have multiple credit cards so that you can buy appliances all at the same time when you plan to furnish your own house already. My hubby and I are thinking about this since hopefully after getting married we’ll also have a new place to stay that’s why we’re planning to get more credit cards. It would really be a great help financing all the shopping that has to be done for the new place! It’s easier to get your application approved when you have existing credit cards already. Read more about this in sendmethecard.com for more information about pre-approved application.

Paypal

It's really great news that they are now allowing the feature to receive money through Paypal here in the Philippines. This really changes the ball game specially since I usually make use of Paypal to get my earnings, but I used to use my uncle's account in the US to receive it for me and then he's the one who sends it to me via money transfer. Now, I can easily withdraw it on my own. This would be really great and more hassle-free. Well, I hope my Paypal account gets verified soon!

movies

I just watched No Reservations. It was just OK. Somehow I just feel drawn to movies involving food, chefs, and cooking, thus enjoying the movie Ratatouille as well. It never fails that everytime I watch these kinds of movies, I ask myself that what-if question. I have always loved cooking and sometimes dream of going into culinary schools to hone my skills then open up my own restaurant. For the mean time I just enjoy cooking for the people I love. Oh well. It really is hard when there's a lot of things that I want to do. *sigh*

great deals

Planning for a travel trip has become much easier through the help of the internet. You can easily get some great deals for your flight and accommodations! I was surprised to read on one of those sites that an Orlando Villa can cost as low as $10 per person per night! How cool is that? Every one of us has preference when traveling. Others prioritize value over money and want their accommodations to be as luxurious as possible. While others prefer to just backpack and would just want to have a place to sleep and bunk beds at low costs are enough for them already. Well, no matter what your preference is, I’m sure with all the information available in the internet, you’d easily find the place suitable for you!

davao

My mom has just arrived from a 5-day trip to Davao. I love all her pasalubongs! I just feel envious that she was able to go to Eden Park and Crocodile Farm. I hope I can return soon to Davao and visit those places as well. I really love Davao, I've been there twice only but I feel that if in any case I would relocate, I would choose Davao to live in. One of the things I love about the place is that snorkeling and island hopping is just so easy to do, having Samal Island just nearby!

getting ready for scrapfest

It's scrapfest again in just a few hours. I haven't even packed my stuff. I guess I'm just not as excited this time since I haven't been feeling creative lately. I remember how stressful yet exciting it was finishing the layouts during the last scrapfest just so my layout could be included in the contest.

I guess more than the scrapping, I'm more excited about the shopping. Too bad my new earnings have not arrived yet. Although I guess that's a blessing also since I just might end up spending so much during the scrapfest.

It's just really fun seeing all those ladies with the passion for scrapbooks. Some even end up spending 10k shopping for scrapbook materials! I guess when you see all their pretty works you'd understand and say it's all worth it.

medical equipment

Have you heard of Allegro Medical? It is one of the largest online retailers of products such as Nutritional Dietary Supplements, Exercise and Fitness equipments, Maternity and Baby supplies, etc. They actually have over 55,000 products. That’s how big they are! So in case you need medical equipment for whatever reason, try checking them out. If there’s a diabetic in your family, you may want to get from them some Diabetes Test Strips so you can easily monitor their blood sugar. I know these can be costly at times, but check out their free Allegro Ecatalog, you might just find those medical stuffs you need at a discounted price!

Flickr account

I have just upgraded my Flickr account. I was surprised at how affordable it was. I would've upgraded sooner if I found out much earlier. Oh well. I still have to upload a lot of pictures I've accumulated. I just love their unlimited storage capacity and easy upload drag-and-drop tool. I would just need to devote some time organizing my photos and adding up tags so that it's much easier for searching.

Mailing Lists Company

As a consumer I would want to be informed of new information or promotions for products I am interested in. Thanks to Mailing Lists Company which connects consumers to those businesses which provides good products and services they’re interested with. It really becomes a win-win situation for everybody. It makes it even more like a personalized way of advertising since consumers are directly contacted and provided information which often results to a higher response rate, thus increasing their sales significantly. I see this type of advertising to become more popular since using their extensive database of possible consumers of their products are indeed very cost effective specially for small businesses.

comfort rooms

I'm glad of the CR system at SM North, the Block wherein they follow just one line to go to the stalls. It now ensures first come, first served. It's much more fast and orderly this way. The line might look long, but it's actually the fastest way you can get your turn. I hope all comfort rooms apply this system.

birthday coming up

It's going to be my birthday in a couple of weeks! (November 4) I can't believe I'm turning 27 already! Wow, that sounds old! Hmmm...I wonder how I'll celebrate my birthday this year. I usually have a party at my house since it's a good time to get together with old friends and do some catching up and probably sing some karaoke and drink some booze while playing poker. I remember when I turned 25 I celebrated it at an orphanage then continued the party at home. Let's see what I'll get to brew up this year.

Going back to school

I got a letter from the UP College of Engineering. It was an invitation to join their graduate studies program. It even enclosed the application form as well as information on how to get a scholarship.

Honestly, sometimes I consider studying again. I somehow miss it. But then sometimes I can't imagine myself going back to school. Probably if I'll go back to school, it would be take up culinary lessons since I really love cooking. Oh well. Let's just see.

Thanks to PEX

I'm really thankful for having Pinoyexchange around. I usually browse through the forums whenever I need information about traveling. It's much easier planning for a trip with all the tips you can find there. Sometime I also check it out for ideas to where my next foodie adventure would be. This forum is really loaded with useful information. Thanks to pexers who unselfishly share nuggets of information which would come handy to fellow pexers.

bad credit history

When I was younger, I’ve always told myself that I will never get a credit card since it’s just a temptation. I know of people who get into big debts because of their credit cards. I don’t know what pushed me to get one later on. I guess I just somehow believed that I’m disciplined enough to handle it. Well, unfortunately I can’t say that I’m handling it pretty well specially when I see a pair of pretty shoes and bags on sale! It really is hard to control one’s self from swiping that card during those moments. Anyway, I hope I get to pay off my credit card bill balance soon. I don’t want to end up with all those surcharges and get a bad credit history. Even if there are Credit Cards For People With Bad Credit available already I don’t want to be labeled as someone with a bad credit history. Oh well. I really hope I get to discipline myself more from swiping that card!

hair loss

Have you tried provillus? Does it work? It is said to block the hormones in men which causes hair loss. Well, unfortunately my dad has lost so much hair already and would probably need those hair loss treatments. I don’t know if it’s genetics or the water in middle east somehow affects it as well. I remember one of my previous bosses who seemed to have hair problems. Sometimes we think he’s wearing a wig to mask the hair loss. Or probably he got hair weaves. Sometimes it looks orderly but sometimes it somehow looks funny since you know there’s something not natural about it.

A lot of men really do have hair problems. I wonder how much it affects their confidence. I know some men can really be vain when it comes to hair not just women. Well, I guess I’d have to refer my dad to this site which gives reviews and compares products to solve those hair loss problems. Let’s see which one he tries out and if it becomes successful.

visiting new house

We went to my bestfriends' new house and spent the night there since we had to go over some stuff for the wedding that we're organizing. I like their new house better since it's more spacious.

I love playing with Mateo, their son which is my inaanak also. He's so cute and has a distinct character already even if he's only 8 months old. I also enjoyed watching my sweetie play with him. It gives me a preview how he would be with our kids.

Yey! Good thing ateneo won over UST! I'm excited for the next ADMU vs DLSU game! Even if I'm not from those schools I still enjoy watching their games.

I went shopping with my hubby . I just realized how expensive guys' stuff can get. Women may shop more but when guys do their shopping, it's even more than the amount that women uses up. He cringed when I bought 3 pairs of shoes all at one time. Now it's my time to cringe when he bought a pair of shoes worth 4k plus!!!

gold bars

My hubby and I have been discussing about investments lately. Of course we both want to secure a good future for our family. It really is not enough to just put your money into banks and just rely on the small interest that it can possibly earn. You’ll be wasting a lot of opportunities if you just let your cash sit in your banks.

My hubby has started investing on mutual funds already. I’m planning to invest on those as well. Another thing that we’re considering is investing in gold bars. Not a lot go into these kinds of investments but those who do swear by the great interest their gold bars have earned. Well, we’d have to research more on this before further jumping into this kind of investment. Probably soon we just might start buying those gold bars.

Vegas

One of the places that I would really love to go to is Las Vegas! I’ll probably include that in my list of things to do before I die. I would love to experience playing poker there and even trying the slot machines just for experience. Las Vegas is really a world of its own. It’s like just being there gives you the permission to go crazy. I can’t blame people ending up rashly getting married there. It’s just really like seizing the moment. And after spending a day of exploring what Vegas has to offer I’d pamper myself in one of those hotels like the Imperial Palace Las Vegas. That would really be cool, don’t you think?

hardworking hubby

My hubby works the night shift again. He just finished a month long day shift and now he has to adjust his body clock again. He works at one of those call centers as an IT support and not as agent. I understand how hard his job is specially if we’re talking about supporting thousands of computers. Viruses, password breaches, and outages are their enemies. They make sure that all computers are running in tip top shape and follow the sarbanes 404 requirements all the time. He works so hard and would even go into overtime. I know I have to be understanding regarding his work. I’m just glad he has a job that he truly enjoys!

finding a new house

My aunt and her family have been living inside the compound of the company they’re working for. It’s hassle-free for them to go to work since the office is just at a walking distance. But then there are hazards living within the compound that’s why they’re starting to look around for some real estate where they could transfer. They’ve made a couple of oculars already but haven’t really seen the right one fit for their family. I think they need some broker so that the task would be easier and faster. Hopefully they’d be able to get their dream house already.

another blogger

I've been reading this person's blog. I'm really amused at how she writes. I could feel every emotion and could almost paint a picture through the words that she has weaved. I look forward to her posts everyday since I somehow can relate to her. I look up to her on how she is living her life in spite of all the struggles that she has been encountering. I wish her the best. I hope she finds true happiness that she truly deserves.

Sammie

Sammie the dog is becoming so spoiled already. She always wants to sleep at my parent's bedroom. She's becoming picky with what she wants to eat. And every morning and every night she wants to be walked around the park or else she throw tantrums and annoy the hell out of us until we walk her. And sometimes when we are outside already and she suddenly gets tired, she'd refuse to walk and summon us to carry her instead. She really won't budge even if you pull her chain, so the only left for us to do is to just carry her home. Spoiled dog!

Xbox skins

Christmas time is just around the corner! Sometimes I even hear Christmas songs being played already on the radio. I usually get that Christmas spirit early. I’m even starting to list down the people I plan to give gifts to as early as now. I know others find it too early but planning ahead helps me manage my budget. It also gives me enough time to really think about what gifts to give. Lately I just thought of giving Xbox skins to my friends who are so into gaming. They’re actually a lot of them. I guess they use gaming as a form of stress releaser. Well, I just hope they love my gift. I hope I can think of nice ones for others on my list.

ADMU vs DLSU

You just gotta love their school spirit!

I don't belong from any of these schools but I do love watching their games. I was crazy enough to line up for tickets last Thursday to watch at Araneta.

It's really different watching it live. My heart thumps with excitement as they begin beating their drums and cheering their hearts out!

It was really quite an adrenaline rush... for every foul, for every three-point shot, for every missed shot. And with the 7 seconds left at the fourth quarter you can feel the tension in the air. I can just imagine all the prayers said during those final seconds. Alas, Ateneo won. (Although of course they finally succumbed to DLSU last Sunday)

computer help

Are you into computer stuff? Well, a lot are into that lately, especially with all the things you can do with it. The internet has made the computer such a powerful tool. There are a lot of forums available where you can ask questions, share ideas, read new information, and discuss issues with other enthusiast. I’m sure it would be such a haven for you to visit if you’re into these kinds of things.

These forums are also helpful for those who are not so good with all these stuff. I personally wouldn’t know what to do if my pc just suddenly conks out on me. I would usually rely on my brother or my boyfriend who are more computer savvy and would probably know what to do to fix it. There are also forums out there to help you in case you yourself encounter some problems and wouldn’t know what to do. Just browse through it and I’m sure you can get the Computer Help you’ve been looking for. They really do come in handy rather than spend some money and sending your computer to some repair shop. Doing your own fixing can really save a lot of money and time as well. Why let others fix it when you can do it on your own. It is a nice feeling after being able to successfully do it yourself!

search engine marketing

Have you heard of SEO? That’s search engine optimization. Now, why do people serious about their sites concerned about this? Well, it’s because it helps bring in the viewers to your site. The more visitors, the bigger the probability that what you’re selling online will actually sell. Also, it’s a big help in earning in Google Adsense and increasing your page rank. A lot actually invest in search engine marketing since they say that the return is all worth it. You just really have to expand your range of people visiting your site.
