gold

I wonder how many people have become richer because of their gold bullion investment. If I were rich I would invest in a lot of this! With the law of supply and demand, the value of gold would certainly increase over the years. Anyway, I don’t know how much does gold cost right now. Yes it may be costly but I the risk may not be too high in investing in this. I think it’s a done deal. It’s just a matter of waiting for it to appreciate and not the question of if it will appreciate since I think it’s a given.

becoming a mom

Now that I'm going to be a mom soon, I'm slowly absorbing the duties and responsibilities that comes with it. It can really be overwhelming whenever I think about them. Sometimes I even ask myself if I'm really ready for it. Well, ready or not ready, I'll surely be trying my best to be the best mom for our baby. It makes me really appreciate my mom more now, with all the hardships she went through for us. She really deserves to get even a fantasy trophy for everything she has done!

flowers

I have had bride clients who are very particular with their flowers. One loves roses. Another likes anything except mums. Me? I would love to have tulips and carnations for my bridal bouquet while the church will be filled with either white calla lilies or white and red roses. Probably it would be wise to just buy wholesale roses instead and to cut down on costs. I would want the reception to have the not so ordinary flowers. I would want those which look a little exotic with very vibrant colors. That would be a refreshing site.

National Treasure: Book of Secrets

I have recently watched National Treasure: Book of Secrets and I say I had loads of fun watching it. Anyway, the movie was really great. I just loved how everything unfolded. I miss watching adventure films like these. It makes me miss Raiders of the Lost Ark as well as all the Indiana Jones movies. I remember having a betamax copy of those back when I was still in a kid which I loved watching over and over. Anyway, I hope I can watch more of these kinds of films

sofa

Hubby and I are discussing what type of sofa to get for our condo unit. It's such a small place so we have to plan very carefully which furniture to put. We were thinking of getting a leather one so that it would be better to clean, especially considering that we would be having a kid on the way already. But then we might have to deal with leather sofa repair in case our kid would often be jumping up and down the sofa and playing there all the time. Oh well. We really to weigh the pros and cons and hopefully we'll be able to find a model that would suit our requirements.

caffeine

A study has been conducted by the Harvard Medical School which revealed that consumption of caffeine in low levels is more effective than having it in just a single large serving. A product has been developed to mimic this desired scenario wherein energy-boosting components are released slowly in small increments which enables you to be energized the whole day!

credit cards

Credit cards are indeed a great financial tool if used wisely. Being smart about it actually starts on the selection of which credit card to apply for. There are a lot being offered and sometimes you just have to analyze a little more which can benefit you more. Some offer 0% interest on purchases for a period of 12 months. They also offer balance transfers at a very minimal fee. You may even get bonuses for approved referrals.

windmills

As we all know, there are different kinds of energy, such electric energy, solar energy and wind energy. Good thing that these windmills were built there to provide alternative energy for Ilocos Norte. The wind energy produced by these windmills certainly helps save up a lot on electricity bills as compared to using electric energy. These windmills are actually barely new. They’ve been operating for just around 3 years in Banggui and fortunately are able to supply electricity to around 40% of Ilocos Norte already (or approximately around 3 towns). All 15 of these windmills can generate a total of 25MW of power! Producing this amount of power is quite an achievement considering that they only rely on strong steady winds.

make up

I am happy to have crossed paths with a former grade school classmate. We had a lot of catching up. It turns out that she went to the United States after high school and attended college there and went to a cosmetology school. She just got back recently to practice her chosen profession here. I have seen her portfolio and I was pretty amazed at how skillful she is. She has been doing some fashion shows as well as print media and TV commercials. She has been doing weddings as well. She really has come a long way already. I’m glad I saw her again.
