Dad has been building a vacation house in our province in batangas. He's been doing it little by little and doing lots of DIY stuff. The place is already liveable but there's still quite a few stuff that he wants to fix and add up. He's looking at WeGotPumps.com water pump so he could have one installed there as well. It's nice to have a vacation place that you could rest at during weekends. Maybe we could plant some fruit bearing trees as well as other herbs there which would be nice to harvest once in awhile.

long holiday

It’s starting to become colder during nights already. It would be nice to snuggle up to an electric blanket to keep you warm. It’s a bit hard to get up on mornings and would love to get that extra snooze. I just love the Christmas holidays. It’s a good thing that everybody would have a long Christmas vacation. I’m sure a lot of people are happy with the declared long duration of the non working holidays.

headphones

My headphones got busted again. It's time to get a replacement so that I can watch my downloaded movies through my tablet without disturbing my husband sleeping beside me. Maybe I'll get shure headphones. This time I would not look for the cheapest one, but look for good quality headphones which would sounds good and would last for a long time. I have tried a lot of cheap headphones and they rarely last long.

popped the question

I'm so happy that my friend finally popped the question to her girl friend! Their relationship might not be that long yet, probably just a year, but I've seen them so happy together. They are so compatible! I'm so happy for them. I wish them the best! They're planning their wedding already and I'm sure it would be an awesome one! Cheers to love!

I'm looking at eMedia Guitars at Musicians friend. They have starter packs for kids which I'm thinking of giving to a friend's son who's into music and playing the guitar lately. He has been urging his mom to get him his own guitar already. It would really be great to be supportive so he can hone his talents further more. Maybe he would be a great guitarist someday.

handy man

It's amazing how much tools my dad has accumulated over the years. He was able to build most of our furniture in our province using his tools. Lately he has been looking for these. I guess he was able to use up all his stock already. He still needs some for his other home projects. He really is a handy man. He certainly has saved lots of money by making home projects by himself instead of buying from the store and having other people do it.

Maybe if I pursued playing the piano and guitar I would probably be part of a band playing professionally right now. That's one of my wild dreams. That would have been awesome to be part of a playing band. I would probably be browsing for yamaha mg32 14fx right now and looking for other music related stuff to improve our craft. I do miss playing the piano and the guitar.

ukulele

I'm looking at some kala ukulele at Musician's Friend. My cousin is starting to get into playing ukulele so maybe he would appreciate getting his own this christmas. Well I just hope it's not just a fad for him and really would get serious in playing it so it wouldn't go to waste in case we really do decide to get him one for christmas. I hope he learns new songs he can play for us during our next family get together.

cozy on cold nights

It's been a bit rainy the past few weeks. I love cold nights since it helps me sleep better. Although sometimes it gets too cold that it makes you crave for heated mattress pads. That would surely ensure a good night sleep on a very cold night. It would be nice to snuggle up with your husband on a rainy night. Oh well. Rainy nights make me think of warm chocolate and snuggling up with my sweetie.

put out those umbrellas

It's been raining for quite a few weeks in a row already. I hope we can see the sun shining more prominently again. Well, if your company has those promotional umbrellas, you would have gotten so much marketing mileage since those umbrellas would certainly been have well used due to the torrential rain. It just sucks that those heavy rain has caused so much flooding around and unfortunately a lot of people had to evacuate their flooded homes

invitations

I'm making dagny's invitation for her birthday which is coming up very soon. Maybe it would be better if we opt to use online printing. I'm just in the process of designing it. I'm in a bit of a cramming mode since it's just barely a month to go. I hope that our family and friends would be able to share their time with us on my daughter's birthday. Hopefully I can send the invites within the week so that they can save the date already.

I can hear my sister-in-law play the guitar right now from next door. She's really good at playing the guitar. She only taught herself how to play which is amazing since she can play numerous songs already. It would probably be nice to give her a la patrie guitar for her birthday which is coming up pretty soon. I hope she enhances her talent even more. I'm looking forward to hearing her play more songs.

royal teak

We visited our condo unit last week. It made me long more to move in soon. It would be fun designing and buying stuff for the unit. I would like to shop for royal teak for our small veranda. Hubby and I would always imagine having breakfast there and watching the sunrise. We hope we can save up enough money for the renovation already. It would really be lovely to live in that neighborhood!

epiphone nighthawk

Have you tried using an epiphone nighthawk? It has a 25.5" scale length which was introduced in the 90's. Guitar players would enjoy the combination of coil-tappable humbucker and single coil pickups which is very versatile. Maybe if I have the extra money I can buy epiphone nighthawk gift my brother. I'm sure he would enjoy playing it. Well, I should probably ask him what model he really wants but I'm sure he would love to have his hands on an electric guitar. It can be a combination of birthday and christmas gift already.

wide range of projects

We got a lot of projects lined up, but I only committed myself to one since by January (after the wedding), we would be staying in Laguna already. I would have a hard time commuting from our place to UP Diliman by that time. Anyway, the other projects seem interesting as well. Topics of the projects lined up range from turning some industrial equipment supplies to become environment friendly to stem cell storage. Some are still in the project development stage. I don’t want to start dipping my fingers on them since I just might have a hard time pulling myself out of them by the time we have to relocate to Laguna.

I'm sure the flower delivery company has lots of orders during valentine's and mother's day and all souls day. They may be seasonal but given that there are a lot of weddings, anniversaries, proposals, and birthdays being celebrated, for sure they do not run out of clients. I myself have a penchant for flowers. I used to have a crazy thought of opening up my own flower shop. Oh well. I'll just leave it up to the experts instead. I wouldn't mind receiving flowers though. :)

comfy bed

I hope we get to find a good latex mattress for our bed when we transfer to our condo unit. What we're using now is truly due for replacement already. Well, it would be nice to get one of those memory foam beds so that it would be more comfortable to sleep in. We just need to find a waterproof bed cover since my hubby really sweats a lot and his side of the bed usually gets the funny smell.

another wedding

I just saw the wedding pictures of my classmate's sister in Baguio. It looked so fun and stylish. Since it was in Baguio, they had pictures with pine trees and horses. The bride even had a picture in her wedding gown, showing off her equestrian boots. It was so cool. Her wedding gown was so gorgeous, so as she! I really had a great time browsing through their photos. Weddings make me feel giddy and fuzzy inside.

invest in gold

We always think about investing on gold coins when we get the extra money for investing. Maybe we can buy gold coins at Golden Eagle. But the more I think about our condo-related bills, the more I think that it would take a longer time before we can have that extra money for investing. Well, we're really just looking forward to moving in to our condo unit. I know that all the sacrifices are worth it.
