I’ve always felt that our neighborhood is one peaceful safe place. I had this notion until one of our neighbors, who’s actually an actress, had her car stolen. It was actually rumored that it was another neighbor (rumored to be a drug addict) who stole it. It took them quite some time to retrieve the car, but after a few weeks the police were able to find it and returned it to the owner. Well, probably if it had a vehicle tracking device, it would have been easier to locate. It can give satellite photos and near real-time location updates. Thanks to GPS tracking. It’s great that these kinds of technologies are being developed in order to provide solutions to problems. Probably if all cars have these installed, car owners would always feel secure that their vehicle won’t get stolen since bad people would be hesitant to steal cars already. They won’t get away from the dirty deed, indeed!
