pre-employment stuff

The only thing I hate when transferring to a new job is the pre-employment stuff that you have to do. I hate the long lines just to get your NBI clearance (which unfortunately I got hit so I get to claim my clearance on a much later date). It was also a hassle getting medical clearance since you would have to bring stool sample and you have to go back the next day again to get the results of your laboratory exams. It's so time consuming! It's just great that my previous work allows working from home as lieu of being absent at during working hours.

settling in

I’ve started with work since Monday. I haven’t gotten my official pc yet but I’m temporarily given a laptop to start off with whatever that I have to do. I haven’t totally settled in my office space since we’ll be transferring to another room which is still being renovated. Perhaps by next week we can move in already and I can finally settle down and personalize my own space.

energy

My previous co-workers who were taking their masters degree were thinking of pursuing something related to energy since I guess it’s one of the hot topics in engineering lately. I’m not really sure what one becomes of if you pursue such course. Maybe you’ll become one of those energy auditors or something. Anyway, I hear the pay is really good so I guess it’s worth pursuing.

vitamins

We’ve run out of vitamin C in our household. I hope I don’t get to forget that I should buy replenishment of our vitamins later when we go to the mall. I’ve got so much to do today. I hope I get to accomplish all of them and still get enough time to rest. I’m feeling a bit dizzy already actually. It must be the heat.

scam

Have you heard of the apidexin scam? It’s really scary to be victims of any scam. That is why it really is suggested that you research thoroughly before you enter into something. It would be great to be able to read reviews in order to get insights from other people. Getting to read their reviews would give you a glimpse of what the product is about and how effective they are or not.

Splash

My sweetie and I were finally able to swim for the summer last Labor Day. We went to Splash Island with his college friends. Labor Day wasn't really a good day to have an outing since there's just too many people. But of course nothing can dampen our spirits. We made sure that we still have fun. All in all, it was a great experience. We really enjoyed trying out the rides!

investing

How does one save up for the future? I know that there are a lot of ways but it depends on how much extra money you can invest in order to grow your money to either invest on stocks, buy gold bullion, or start your own business. Leaving your money in the bank may not even be enough to cover the inflation rate in the long run. I wonder how much a gold bullion costs now and how much it would appreciate in, let’s say, 10 years? If only we have more money, it would great to put our eggs into different baskets and explore which investing option would be the most fruitful.

goin electronic

Have you tried using the electronic cigarette? I really haven’t. I’m a bit curious how it works, but then again, I don’t really smoke. It’s just amazing how people can come up with these kinds of innovations. Well, I haven’t really seen one for real, only in pictures. I wonder, what are the testimonials of people who are into using electronic cigarettes? Is there a difference?
