beauty jobs

Finding a job these days is not that easy. There are actually a lot of lay offs being done world wide. Anyway, it’s great that there are sites which help people look for jobs. In case you are searching for beauty salon jobs, why not check out beautyjobs.com for options. It’s a nice site where you can find jobs as well as read pertinent information in forums. I hope the site would be able to help you find a job. If you are qualified, I’m sure you’ll get matched up pretty soon. I wish you luck! I hope 2009 would be much better than 2008.

antipolo tradition (6)

Well, even if we don’t go with them to Megamall and star city any more for the past few years, atleast we still go and hear mass with the whole family in Antipolo. I hope we can keep this tradition even when we all get married and have kids already.
How about you, what are your family traditions?

antipolo tradition (5)

Then we would go to megamall. We usually split up when we get there and just set a time when we would be meeting again by the entrance. The elders usually go shopping at the supermarket or just go around the mall. The younger ones usually pick one of the movies of the Metro Manila Film Fest. Well, for the last few years, my family goes home already by this time since we usually have something else to do.

fashion jewelry

Are you interested in buying some fashion jewelry sets? Of course you would have to consider their quality and price before buying them. Well, maybe you can visit holsted jewelers to look for great options. You just might be able to find the perfect design for yourself. They boast of the great quality of products which I’m sure you would appreciate. These are nice gifts to give to. So in case you still have a couple of friends you haven’t given gifts to, maybe you can get them some fashion jewelry set. Just keep in mind the site just in case you need to buy some fashion jewelry in the near future.

nice advices

I just love my belle de jour planner! I hope I get to maximize its use (as well as the discount coupons that goes with it).

Just sharing some nice advices written in the front page:

Live with intention.

Walk to the edge.

Listen hard.

Practice wellness.

Play with abandon.

Laugh.

Choose with no regret.

Continue to learn.

Appreciate your friends.

Do what you love.

Live as if this is all there is.

no replacement yet

I haven’t gotten my credit card replacement yet. Boo to HSBC! Hmp! But in some ways I’m also thankful since I’m forced to pay in cash in all my purchases. I can just imagine if I have my card with me during all the shopping I’ve been doing lately. I would have certainly bought more stuff. But without a credit card I would have to think more before buying anything since I don’t want to run out of cash.

opening gifts

I’m sure you’ve opened a lot of gifts this holiday season. Isn’t it fun opening gifts? It’s the anticipation of what’s inside the wrapper. It’s extra exciting when you receive a big box that you actually need a box cutter to open it. Well, I’m pretty happy with all the gifts that I received this season! I hope the ones that I’ve given gifts to also loved what I got for them.

holidays

How are you celebrating the holidays? There’s a pretty long non-working holiday period which I’m sure everyone is excited about. Some would probably be partying, others would probably prefer to rest at home and bond with the family, while others might probably take advantage of the free days to travel. Time to get acquainted with the las vegas strip map and hit that city. It would probably be fun to celebrate the holidays there.

Wiiiiiiii!!!!!!

Finally my dad’s package is here! He already bought Wii!!! He got Wii sports and Wii Fit. He also had the dance pad and the gun which you can also connect to it. Unfortunately, since my dad was in a hurry to buy and pack the Wii to send with his package, he wasn’t able to check the supposed inclusions in the boxes. It turns out, the Wii sports didn’t have the CD which was supposed to be included so we can’t use it yet. Boooo! That’s super hassle. So near yet so far. Oh well. We just have to settle with the Wii fit for the mean time.

driving fear

It’s alarming to see all those car accident reports on TV. Just hearing about those makes me scared of driving all the more. I’m not sure if I can handle driving in EDSA. I just might panic. I’m really scared of getting into a vehicular accident. Even if you have cheap auto insurance to cover for damages, the physical injury that you can cause to yourself and others is just scary. Oh well. Someday I just have to get over this fear.

challenging cases

Have you encountered any accident in the work place? Do you need a Grand Island personal injury lawyer? Well, if you are in our country, it can be quite challenging when it comes to handling cases like this. I hope we get to have more able lawyers who would be able to help those in need and be able to handle cases in order to get just compensation. It’s great that demerath law office gives free consultation. Knowing your legal rights and options is a big help when going through such crisis. You can easily fill out a form at their site where you can tell them about your case so that they could help you out.

i lost my wallet

Aaaaargh! Super bad trip!

I was at Ayala MRT station around 7:20pm...usual crowded station since it's rush hour. I hate myself for being not so vigilant. I usually am. Aaaargh! I was already on the escalator going down when I noticed that my bag has a big slash already and my wallet is gone. Darn it! I panicked a little...didn't know what to do...my knees became a bit weak. I had to pause for awhile at the side to compose myself. I knew I'm not getting my wallet back ever! haaaaaaaay! I called my sweetie first to tell him what happened. And for some reason, I had the urge to report it to the policeman at the entrance even if I know he can't do anything about it. Oh well. It was a good thing I still had some coins in my pocket enough to get me home.

I'm sooo hating this feeling. I'm usually vigilant and would usually consider myself street smart but after this incident I hated myself so much. I know what to do on crowded places yet at that moment I didn't do what I know I was supposed to do. Aaaaargh! I hate feeling stupid!

I just withdrawn 5k to pay for my credit card. Darn it! Swerte naman nya. Haaaaay! Super hassle lang to block my credit card and atms. I lost all my identification cards! Grrrrrr! What's worse is that the key to our house is in my wallet and I have IDs which has my address there. Now we have to replace our door lock! Haaaaay! Super hassle talaga! Oh, my starbucks card is there also - 2 stickers na lang, planner na sana (oh well..buti na lang hindi masyado maganda yung planner, di ako masyado nanghinayang). That wallet also had one of my sweetie's love letters inside. *sigh*

Oh well. Ang hirap talaga pag magpapasko na! Ang dme mandurukot! Kaya kayo, be extra careful!

I already had all my cards blocked. Super hasssssssssle!

Haaaaaay....I hope I get over this soon.

Life goes on... gotta move forward...

no more weddings...

My sweetie wants me to stop accepting wedding coordination stints so I can just focus on other means of earning money which aren't too time and energy consuming (like blogging). He knows that there are a lot of things that I want to do. He has always been supportive and lets me explore and lets me do stuff that I want to do. Atleast he has let me experience being a wedding planner. That's a dream come true already.

Money from wedding coordination isn't really much (but of course the happiness and feeling of being able to help others is priceless). Of course I cannot charge high yet since I've only been doing this for a little of over a year and it's not even regular. It's not easy being a wedding planner since you deal with a lot of suppliers (around 15 suppliers on the average). Brides can attest how hard it is to plan for a wedding. Imagine planning 3-5 weddings in a year! And each couple have their own quirks and requests that you have to consider. It can really get pretty crazy at times. But I have never had any regrets. It's always worth it for me. At the end of every event, I feel a sense of pride and happiness that I was able to contribute significantly to other people's lives. At some point, I was able to deduce that probably my goal in life is to be a blessing to other people. Helping a couple prepare for a very momentous event in their lives is such an honor.

But I guess it's the case of not-because-you-can-means-you-should. I have to be practical and streamline my modes of earning. For around a year and a half, blogging has become my bread and butter. I think if I focus more on it and really exert more effort, I can still significantly increase my earnings. It's really a great opportunity since you can stay at home and still earn. You don't have any time schedule that you have to abide to (except probably posting deadlines). But you can basically do your blog posts in your jammies. Finish them and post them then go back to sleep.

If only I can put up more blogs, post more regularly, and take advantage of other online opportunities, I would be able to increase my monthly earnings. This would be more possible if my attention is not divided. I guess this is what's my sweetie is pointing out. He has seen how hard I work for my wedding planning stints which can spread out in a year per wedding. Earnings I get from that, I can easily earn in less than a month (sometimes even in less than a week) if I get to maintain more blogs.

Anyway, another reason why he probably wants me to stop my wedding coordination stint is probably because he wants me to focus on our own preps. With limited budget, it is going to be quite a challenge to plan for our own wedding.

Oh well...I would just have to finish my last wedding on January and that's it.

A friend recently asked me if I can do her wedding for next December... I already turned her down...

Capella

It would certainly be a unique experience to take some online college courses. If you are interested, I suggest that you visit Capella University’s website to know more about the programs. You can search by degree of by profession. It would be much easier to enroll in this online university than to physically go to a real school. You can easily fit studying in your busy schedule even if you are working. With their pursuit towards academic excellence, students would surely learn a lot from this school. You might probably be yearning to get an MBA but was too busy to do so. Now you can take advantage of getting on an online university so you wouldn’t have to quit your job while taking further studies.

This blog post was based on information provided by Blogitive.

andok's

If you’re looking for a tipid place, I suggest you eat at Andok’s. The one at Trinoma is usually a bit full with people drinking beer al fresco. I recently had dinner there and ordered their bbq meal (Php51) which already includes 2 pieces of bbq and 1 cup of rice. I ordered 4-pc siomai (Php29) as well so that’s only a total of Php80!!! That’s a pretty good deal if you ask me.

fun date

My sweetie and I celebrated out last monthsary at Star City. We have been thinking of alternative ways to spend our monthsary since we’re tired of the typical dinner date. It was really fun actually since we got to experience snow and slide on ice. We also won this cute gorilla at one of those games. It was indeed a night of fun. I look forward to more fun dates like that.

caregivers

Have you noticed that there are a lot of people who are taking nursing or health care related courses? I guess there’s really a big demand of it abroad. There are nursing homes but there are also companies like Fort Lauderdale Home Health Care which can provide health care personnel at the comfort of your home. I think most who get their services are for taking care of the elderly, especially those with special conditions like Alzheimer. I think it’s better for patients with those conditions to stay in their homes with their families and just have extra help from caregivers rather than putting them in nursing homes.

enjoy the season

My sweetie is amazed how I can hold up my high energy despite having only 3 hours of sleep on the average. I’ve been busy with a lot of stuff lately and I’m glad that my busy days would be almost over. I plan to enjoy the holidays really well. I intentionally blocked my days for booking so that I’m free to enjoy the Christmas season, unlike last year when I barely felt it.

cruise

Are you thinking of doing something different this christmas season? Well, you might want to check out this promo! How about taking a cruise to boracay and coron? I think that would really be cool! I just got this from my mail and thought of sharing you the information.

christmas songs

What are your favorite Christmas songs? I have a lot! I remember going caroling when I was a kid. I really enjoyed it! Those Christmas songs really compliment all the Christmas decorations around to complete the whole ambiance of the Christmas season. Just seeing decorations around and hearing those jolly Christmas songs warms your heart and somehow makes one happy. Those lively songs can easily make you smile. Hmmm… come to think of it, I still don’t have any Christmas mp3s. I should probably start downloading those free christmas songs at ez-tracks.com. That would be cool to listen to while we put up our Christmas tree later. I’m excited already!

Fentraphen

Before taking any of those diet pills make sure that you get to know first what it really is and what ingredients are used. There are a lot of reviews that you can view online as well as testimonials of users. There’s a new weight loss supplement called Fentraphen that you might want to check out. Get to know more the product by reading the reviews at sybervision.com.

on sale

There's just so many shops on sale right now. It's torture!!! Hahaha! I'm restraining myself from swiping my card again. It needs to rest! Well, some extra cash are on their way to the bank but I know there's still a big amount I need to pay my credit card company. Darn it! I really need to be smarter when it comes to shopping. But how can one resist those nice shoes and bags on SALE!!! Maybe I can just limit myself to buying just 1 pair since there are 2 weddings I'll be attending soon. That's enough justification right?

Wii!!!

I really hope my dad buys one! It's one extra reason to be happy when he arrives next week! hehehe! My mom and brother wants it too so I guess he would probably give in to our request. The Wii sports can really be a great form of exercise while having fun. I can see myself playing with it everyday! It surely is a fun way to lose weight.

medical supplies

Don’t you just love online shopping? It can indeed be quite addicting. Now, even medical supplies can just be readily be bought online. Try visiting allegromedical.com so you will see what I am talking about. You can easily browse through the products by category and you can also shop by brand. They do have a super wide variety of product lines. Imagine over 40k of products? That’s certainly a lot! You can also have free shipping if you order over $100. They really have a lot of great deals. Anyway, If you have any questions in mind that you may want to ask, you can call them at 1-800-861-3211. You might want to browse the products that they are offering. You might be surprised, but they almost have everything. Check out the site so you would know what I am talking about.

flowering plants (2)

I bought some flowering plants from Manila Seedlings, harvested the flowers and transplanted the plants on our front yard. I’m just loving it! My hydrangeas had new flowers and are now getting bushier. My Malaysian Mums are still adjusting to their new environment, but I’m seeing new shoots coming out of the stems so I guess that’s a good sign.

I hope I can maintain these flowering plants. I’m thinking of getting more. It would be nice to have flowers all year long. Having a garden full of flowers is always a refreshing site.

Friday, November 14, 2008

flowering plants

I know it’s cheap to buy flowers at Dangwa, but I recently discovered the flowering plants that can be bought at Manila Seedlings at Quezon Avenue corner EDSA. You can buy Malaysian mums, gerberas and even Stargazers for almost the same price at Dangwa, but atleast you can keep the plant even after you harvest the flowers. Maybe if you get to take care of them pretty well, they can bloom again. That’s what I actually did when I needed some flowers for my tower set-up for some couples getting married.

satisfied results?

I’ve seen a lot of commercials of diet pills. Sometimes I even end up watching a whole episode about those products being sold through those TV infomercials. I wonder how many people really do call up and order those products. I wonder, too, how many were satisfied with what they bought. They really should show more testimonials of success rates. I hope I know someone who was able to use one of those products and was really happy with the results.

sell house fast

Are you one of those who want to sell house fast? Well, you must be careful in terms of dealing with potential buyers. There are a lot of bogus buyers out there who’s just out to get information about you which they later on sell as potential leads. It’s so unethical to do but I guess with all the financial crisis going on worldwide, some would do anything just to earn money. Well, I just hope you don’t get victimized by these people. Try checking out the site of SecureASale. They just might be able to help you out. Over the years they have developed their company to be a trusted one and one who delivers pretty well.

wedding expos

I hope I’m not jinxing the actual proposal by going to these expos even if we haven’t formalized our engagement yet. We both know we want to marry each other. It’s only a matter of time. Anyway, I got this awesome raffle prize at the wedding expo (ring pillow, coin pillow, bridal pouch). I’m keeping them in their plastic bag since they might be dusty by the time we eventually get to use them. Oh I hope I don’t have to wait that long anymore…

sleeping better

Ever since I cleaned my room, I have been sleeping in my room again. For the longest time, I slept in the living room since my own room is all messed up that it’s almost impossible to sleep in. Anyway, because of the new look of my room I’ve been staying there more often. I don’t even get to watch the TV as much as I used to. I’ve been sleeping more peacefully as well. Sometimes I even over sleep which is a great sign how comfortable my bed and my whole room have become.

wonder pill

I hope there’s a wonder pill you can take that cures all and automatically makes one healthy. Oh well. One time I chanced upon this famous socialite on TV and he said he’s taking around 40 medicines and diet supplements per day! Wow! That is quite a lot. I wonder how his body reacts to all that he is drinking. I wonder how much that costs as well. I hope I don’t get to that state when I would need to drink numerous medicines just to keep me alive. Oh well. I know it only takes the proper diet and regular exercise to be healthy. I wonder why I can’t seem to make progress. *sigh*

gift for mom

I wonder what I would be giving my mom this coming Christmas. It’s so hard giving gifts to parents since they almost have what they want. Well, I was thinking of giving her new eyeglasses since what she has now seemed to be a bit unaligned and doesn’t fit her too well. I’m just wondering how I can possibly buy one that fits her perfectly well without her knowing. Oh well. I just might have to tell her about the gift in advance and just let her come along when I buy it.

Dencio's

It’s been a long time since I ate at Dencio’s. I usually get mixed up between Dencio’s and Gerry’s Grill since they basically have the same offerings. Anyway, my sweetie and I decided to have dinner at Dencio’s the one by Araneta Coliseum during one of our monthsary celebrations.

As we got in, we can’t help but notice a big group which had around 6 tables joined together to form a long table. It looks like someone is celebrating his birthday with family and friends. We were so envious with all the food that they ordered! Hahaha! Anyway, we decided to have their sisig (of course!), calamares, and pancit. My sweetie also ordered their pack of 3 beer. I’m refraining from drinking alcohol so I just had their unlimited iced tea which made visit the comfort room quite often.

Amusingly, Dencio’s have this certain tie up with Pugad Baboy. It was very apparent since their paper mats on the tables had Pugas Baboy comic strips on them. Even the tissue papers had Pugad Baboy on it. It looks like Pugad Baboy’s all over. I recently saw an MTV with them on it as well.

Birthday thoughts

It's gonna be my birthday on next tuesday (nov 4)! You can start giving me your gifts as early as now. Hahaha! Well, I just realized that as one gets older, you get to receive lesser gifts so I'm not really expecting. Even just a simple greeting would be fine already.

I miss being a kid and having those kiddie parties and opening lots of gifts. Oh well. I usually celebrate my birthday with a party at home and invite my friends over. I don't think I'll have a party this year. I'm just a bit busy and not really in the mood to party. Well, I did have dinner with some college friends the other day which is like a pre-birthday celebration already (more details about the dinner on another post). Maybe we'll just have poker with my org friends and probably dinner with some high school friends 0ne of these days.

Still under the weather

I still feel sick. I hate having colds. I hate feeling weak. My throat is starting to hurt. I think I'm having tonsilitis. I better gargle with warm water with salt. Oh well. I hope I get well soon since I've got tons of stuff to do and I need to be healthy to endure all of them. I just hope getting stronger is as easy as eating spinach just like popeye.

busy as a bee

I’m sorry for not updating this blog lately. I’ve been a bit swamped with other non-blogging stuff lately and it looks like I would be busy until the end of November. Anyway, my mind’s going crazy from juggling stuff so I better take a break and give this blog some luvin’. I’ll just give you a quick peek of what’s in store for me for the coming days.

can't fit

Buying online can really be quite addicting. I better learn to discipline myself before I get to abuse my credit card and paypal account. Anyway, I was browsing through some online shops and saw these MBT shoes which is said to be calorie-burning, muscle-toning, and posture-improving. I wonder how that works? That’s one thing I miss when online shopping – I can’t try out the stuff.

vaio

I love my Sony Vaio! Well, it took me awhile to fully adjust with the windows vista but after I got over the learning, it was a breeze already. I love it more than my Toshiba which was so freaking heavy and kept on conking out on me. Anyway, sometimes I wish for a smaller laptop which can easily fit a handbag, but then again, I’m happy with my Vaio already.

protective software

Have you ever experienced a time when your computer crashed and you can’t retrieve your files anymore? That would be such a bummer and such a hassle. You would wish that you have a disaster recovery software which can restore all your data. For businesses, having these kinds of problems is really crucial and may spell disaster. It’s really suggested that you equip your business with software that would be of such great help. You might want to check out the products of Sysncort Incorporated. I think having protective software can somehow give you peace of mind that your data is safe and protected. Check out their site and avail of the free trial.

what to buy?

Me and my sweetie are recently having talks of buying a condo unit. It can be considered as an investment which we later on would sell or rent out to others. Or it can be considered as a place where we would eventually live. Well, we both would actually prefer living in a real house but we’re assessing our options and considering living in a condo. I hope we get to make the right decision.

same time, next year

I hope I get to find a copy of the movie "same time, next year"

It's about a movie of two people who are married but not to each other who decides to meet at this certain special place on a specific weekend every year.

Quotable quote:
George: You always could see through me, couldn't you?
Doris: But that's okay, because... I've always loved what I've seen.

big but beautiful

I saw an old friend recently. It’s always nice seeing old friends and catching up on each other’s lives. She was raving how blooming I was (despite the thought that I looked bigger since the last time I saw her). She was asking me what I did to achieve the look. Well, I guess being less stressed somehow gives one a more radiant look, plus being in love somehow contributes to a fresher and happier look. I’m just glad I don’t have to deal with acne and I seldom get the zit problem. I’m happy being big and beautiful. Hahaha! But of course I would love to get down to a healthier weight.

happy where i am

Honestly, I don’t see myself going back and getting a corporate job again. Well, I’m not entirely closing my doors but I’m just happy where I am now and being able to manage my own time and not locked inside the office for 8 hours or more. I can’t imagine doing an employment screening again, even if I think I can ace it. Hahaha! I love being my own boss. It’s all up to me. I love that I can stay at home, travel, do things that I want to do when I want to do them, and still earn money.

acne products

When you are contemplating of using a new product, I suggest that you read related reviews about the product first so you would know if they are safe, effective, of good quality, and is worth every penny. Like if you are thinking of trying out some acne products, I suggest that you read reviews written at getacnetreatments.com. Atleast you would be able to get insights from those who have already tried them.

passport

My sweetie’s passport is almost expired. I have been telling him to renew it already since there are faster options for him to do so. I have a friend who just did it online and just spent a few minutes at DFA and that’s it! I’m glad that they are now offering a faster system. I hope my sweetie takes advantage of this and have his passport renewed pretty soon.

franchising

We are looking at some franchise opportunities as a business venture that we can take advantage of. It would be easier when there’s an existing system already rather than starting from scratch when you build your own. I have previously worked from a company which franchises and it has opened my eyes to how franchising works. We'll probably start small, since these kinds of ventures usually cost a lot. I hope we get lucky enough to find a good location where we can put our own franchise business.

trading

How’s the stock market nowadays? There really are a lot of factors that contribute to its performance. I have been contemplating for a long time now on whether to play online trading. I really need to learn a lot before plunging into it. There are some pseudo online trading stuff where one can play without dealing with real money. It just serves as a practice on trading. Well, I just hope I do get to learn the tricks of the trade pretty soon and have the guts to take the plunge.

playstation

I was not really into gaming stuff when I was young. It’s probably because we grow up without a playstation. We didn’t even have Nintendo when we were kids. I remember my brother borrowing from our neighbor. Anyway, some friends are really so hooked at playstation 3. It’s really not just for kids! Well, I can understand their addiction since it’s really fun to play with. One can really get competitive playing it. Sometimes I wish we have one but then again, I might not be able to do productive stuff anymore if we do have one and just spend the whole day playing with it instead.

help for doctors

How would you feel if the doctor you’re consulting doesn’t seem sure if you have Adult Asthma? I’m sure you’d doubt the reliability of this doctor’s diagnosis and prescription. Well, doctors are human also. They may sometimes forget stuff. They’re actually fortunate that epocrates has come up with a free online reference to ensure that their diagnosis and prescriptions are right. Having this can really build up a doctor’s confidence. Knowing all these stuff is really crucial especially if it’s a life threatening disease. You wouldn’t want to diagnose someone with a more complicated disease. The patient would also have peace of mind that his doctor really knows what he’s doing.

everything for her daughter

It’s only a few weeks to go and it’s my cousin’s debut already. I hope everyone would enjoy the night. We have been planning it for a few months already. Almost all details are according to my cousin’s preferences. Well, her preferences are not exactly the same as her moms, but my aunt loves her so much that she respects her and just lets her decide. She would give the world to her daughter if she can! If she had the money, she’d give her those Orlando vacations! Of course she would have to bring us along too!

room conversion

It would be pretty nice to convert the extra room in our house to be my office. Even if I’m just doing some online blogging, it’s much inspiring to write with a nice atmosphere. I admit being too distracted with the TV whenever I do my stuff at the living room. Well, it’s extra nice to use it as my office so I can put all my wedding magazines there as well as all my paraphernalia for my chocolate business which are now occupying so much storage space in the kitchen. I just to throw away some of the junk there and get some decent office furniture, rearrange the place and I’m sure it would look pretty nice!

recipes

Food is really one of my passions! Isn’t it obvious? Hahaha! I love trying out different types of cuisines, and checking out different foodie places. I also love to cook and experiment in the kitchen. I love feeding my family and friends. I love trying out any recipe that catches my fancy and adding some personal touch to it. I usually use the internet and some foodie magazines as references for my new foodie experiments. If you are interested to do some cooking as well, you can use myrecipes.com for reference.

new phone

I’m just toying with my new sony ericsson w960. I still have to get used to how to use it. It's a bit complicated but I’m sure it would just need some time before I get used to it.

I love that it has 8GB memory! Well, I still feel lazy to upload my mp3’s yet. It’s great that it also has a radio, 3-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi and 3G capabilities.

What I extra love about it is that I can now blog or at least write draft posts anywhere I am since I can use word there. I just really have to get used to the stylus so it would be faster to write. I just have to master the strokes so my handwriting would be recognized.

This is really going to be a useful tool for me! I just have to read the whole manual so I can optimize its use. I plan to buy a new sim for it since I want my main phone to still be my sony ericsson w800i since the new one looks so eye candy to snatchers.

for the rainy days

Just in case you are thinking of taking a day off, this might be a good option that you can take advantage of. Of course it's much more fun if you're spending the day off with someone you love. We all need to spend some quality time alone with our love of our lives once in awhile, right? It's nice to go away from the busy city and just relax and breath some fresh air out of town.

Call them for more details about their promo.

Twisted Ankle

Darn it! I twisted my ankle awhile ago. I slipped my right foot and landed on my right knee which caused some skin to get scrapped off my knee. It hurt so bad since the impact was really strong (duh? consider my heavy weight!) It took a couple of seconds before I could stand up. Atleast I could still walk a little although limping a bit. I can't stand putting too much pressure on my left foot. Oh well. I hope it's nothing serious since I hate going to hospitals for check ups.

garden improvements

My mom is into redecorating our garden. I guess she’s very much inspired by the gardens she has visited when she went to the United States. She just bought a couple of new orchids. I think she’s planning to buy new plants for our renovated flower boxes as well. I suggested that we plant some herbs as well and some organic vegetables. Maybe it’s nice to put some wind chimes as well to develop a more soothing garden ambiance.

taking care of the house

My mom is coming home today from a vacation in the US. I have been trying to clean the house before she arrives. I have cleaned the bathrooms and bar sinks and tidying up all the clutter at home. I want to prove that we can take care of the house even if our parents are away and it’s just me and my brother at home. Anyway, I miss my mom. I can’t wait to see her again.

a little stressed

This month, I’m due to make over 2000 pieces of chocolates. Yep, that’s a lot! Well, chocolate making is like therapy for me so I don’t really mind much. Although for some reason, it looks like acne are starting to show up. Looks like my body is feeling a bit stressed already. Oh well. Looks like I need to look for some acne treatment alreadybefore things get worse.

Beads

I love doing a lot of things.  There's this side of me craving to do some creative stuff.  So besides doing some scrapbooking and making some chocolates, I also make accessories out of beads.  I remember making around 200 pieces of bracelets and 100 pairs of earrings as souvenirs for my bestfriends' wedding.  It was really fun although it took quite a bit of time to finish all of them.  I just love playing around with those various beads and mix and matching them. In case you want to order, just email me at jenbaradas@yahoo.com.  I'll probably make a multiply site for my beads pretty soon so watch out for it.

cabling

It’s great that my sweetie is a tech-y guy so I don’t have to worry about cabling when we’re fixing some equipments at home. I don’t like troubling myself which cables to use for which equipment whenever we’re setting up the projector and sound system whenever we want a movie night. There was a lot of cabling involved and I don’t know which ones go to where. I really don’t know anything about CAT5e but I’m glad my sweetie does.

annoying my cat

I was just fooling around with my camera and just annoying our cat by disturbing her sleep.  It was a rainy day and she was just snuggly trying to keep herself warm and desperately trying take a snooze.  It was fun annoying her and calling her when I know she's almost asleep.  I enjoyed taking her picture whenever she would look up sleepily. Hehe! It's fun annoying her!

I'm a white knight

I just took the personality test at kingdomality.com and here's my result:

Your distinct personality, The White Knight, might be found in most of the thriving kingdoms of the time. Don Quixote was a White Knight as was Joan of Arc, the Lone Ranger and Crusader Rabbit. As a White Knight you expect nothing in return for your good deeds. You are one of the true "Givers" of the world. You are the anonymous philanthropist who shares your wealth, your time and your life with others. To give, is its own reward and as a White Knight you seek no other. On the positive side you are merciful, sympathetic, helpful, giving and heroic. On the negative side you may be impulsively decisive, sentimental and misdirected. Interestingly, your preference is just as applicable in today's corporate kingdoms.

recommendation needed

Have you tried taking diet pills? Were they effective? How much pounds did you lose in how many months? I’m really interested to know those testimonials since I’m starting to contemplate on taking some. Knowing success stories would help me rationalize if I would really go into those. It’s just gets too frustrating at times and I might start doing those desperate measures. I just hope those pills don’t have bad side effects.

Laiya

I'm so happy I was able to use my underwater camera again! I wish I can go to the beach more often! I just love the underwater world! I can spend so much time just watching the fishes.

These pictures are taken in Laiya, San Juan Batangas. It was such a nice short vacation. We were so blessed with calm waters! I'll post more pictures soon!

ostrich

There’s an ostrich farm up north, I can’t remember where. I just watched a feature about it and was really amused. The ostrich has really big eggs and would be more than enough to make an omelet. There are a lot of uses for the different parts of the ostrich such as the ostrich feathers. Hopefully I can visit the place pretty soon so I can see for myself how amazing these birds are.

movers

Are you moving to New York? Do you need some mover NYC? I know how it can be such a hassle to move so I suggest that you get the help of shleppers.com. Moving doesn’t have to be that difficult especially when you have helpers. Well, I guess the moving part is already covered, now all you need to worry is adjusting to your new place. I wish you all the luck.

laptop

I cannot imagine not having a laptop. It has become such a big part of my life since I usually go out and need a portable computer I can bring anywhere. It’s so much hassle free to have a laptop especially when I can connect to the internet via wi-fi when I’m out. I just love it. I guess I just need to learn to back up my files before my laptop conks out on me again.

PDA

A lot of people from different types of businesses make use of handhelds and PDAs. Businessmen use these to track all their meetings and appointments. Even doctors use these as well. It’s really great how technology makes our life so much easier. I’m hoping to get one of those PDAs pretty soon as well. Can you suggest a nice model that’s not so pricey?

vacation

I’m so envious of my mom who’s having a time of her life in US right now. She just called to say that she has rebooked her return ticket and would be spending more time there! She was telling stories of her grand time there, visiting different states where she has friends and relatives. Oh well. I hope someday I can take those Las Vegas vacations. That would be pretty cool, huh?

more jewelry

Jewel Elegance really has a lot of products that you can choose from. If you are into jewelry, you can visit their site and view their products. I’m sure it would be such a haven seeing all those precious things! You’ll probably have a hard time saying no to making that purchase. As if that’s not a hard thing to do, what’s even harder is choosing which one to buy! Check out their site. They even have medical id made as jewelry. It’s really pretty cool and you just have to check them out.

new sink

It’s been quite awhile when the sink in our bathroom sank and broke down. We ought to replace it pretty soon. I was just looking at expressdecor.com and their glass sink really caught my attention. I think it’s pretty cool to have. Although I think we ought to have a sturdier one. Well, there’s a lot of options one can see at expressdecor.com. I hope my dad can check it out so he can purchase a new one and get it installed soon. It’s hard not having a sink in the bathroom.

Secret to Happiness

I was at fully booked a couple of days ago. I can’t even remember the title of the book that caught my attention. I was just browsing its content when I saw a short chapter about the secret of happiness. It was just a short read, but it made total sense! It said that the secret of happiness is deciding to be happy NOW. It’s not about waiting for the perfect moment to be happy. It’s like making any moment a perfect time to be happy. I guess happiness is just really a state of mind. I know sometimes it’s easier said than done, but then again, I tried applying it and it really works! Lately, I have been so happy despite having certain issues to deal with. I am deciding to be happy. I am so at peace with myself now.

What are your issues?

Lately I have been blurting this out to friends and they would usually be caught off guard. I know it’s quite a disturbing question. You can either just laugh it off to refrain from thinking about it and answering it or you can take the opportunity to actually ponder about it. I guess all of us have issues. It just differs in intensity and scope. Some may have simple issues while some have deep rooted ones. Well, I think it’s healthy to get to discuss these with a friend once in awhile. So in case you need someone to listen to your issues, you know I’m just here!

radiator needs

My friend needs a new Integra Radiator. I recommended that he checks out radiator.com. He’s been very thankful for my suggestion since he got a really good quality radiator at a very low price. Well, I’m glad I was able to help him out. I’ve been reading a lot about radiator.com and it stuck to my mind. It’s a great thing I got to remember about it when somebody needed the information. Check out radiator.com. You wouldn’t know when you would need their help. If you want to get your new radiator the next day, just get help from radiator.com. Bookmark their site. I’m sure you’ll be glad you did when the time comes you need their help.

Sammie

Before mom left, she kept reminding me to take care of Sammie (our dog). I know she misses Sammie already. Well, Sammie is doing very good. I try to walk her twice a day – in the morning and at night. You would know if she would like to pee or poop and it’s time to walk. She would try to climb on you as if begging to be walked so she can do her thingy. She’s so big now that when we get to walk, she can easily pull me around wherever she wants to go. She really gets excited whenever we go out.

The Secret

Maybe you have read the book or probably watched its video. Have you tried applying it to your life? Try it! It works! I have so many things to be thankful of. Sometimes it really is just a matter of believing. I haven’t quite mastered it yet, but most of the things that I have claimed have actually come true already. Thank you , Universe!

baby gifts

Any day now my friend’s wife would be giving birth already. I’m really excited for them. My friend admits to be a bit scared but I know once the baby is there, the natural daddy instinct would surely kick in. Maybe I better buy baby gifts already so that I have something to bring anytime I get a message from him that his wife has given birth already. I’m glad there’s babynest.com to help me out and give me ideas on what I can possibly buy. Check out their site in case you are planning to buy some baby gifts as well. I hope they like what I’m getting.

Out of the country

One of my goals this year is to be able to travel out of the country. I wonder where I can go or who to go with. Maybe I can go back to Hong Kong. The last time I was there was a bit bitin. I wasn’t even able to experience those rides at the Ocean Park. I also want to visit the Big Buddha. Well, I’m also looking at visiting Bangkok or probably accompany my sweetie to Singapore in case he plans to personally submit his resume there. Oh well, I still have half of the year to plan this out. Any travel suggestions?

Going to the gym again

I can’t wait for July to come. I have actually frozen my gym membership account since I have been mostly out of town for the past few weeks. By July I can make use of my gym membership again. I just hope I’ll be more inspired to go. I really need to lose weight, not just to look more attractive, but to be healthier. Sometimes it just gets frustrating when I don’t get the results that I want. But then again, I know I shouldn’t stop trying.

beauty jobs

Are you looking for beauty jobs? I know it can be quite a bit hard looking for a job that you like, but don’t fret since beautyjobs.com has been launched to help you in your job search. They have made it easier for you to look for beauty jobs. Isn’t that pretty cool? It would be now easier for you to launch your career in the beauty industry. It makes it easier for you to get connected with the right people. They too can easier find you. It’s really a great opportunity. If you have been dreaming to have one of those beauty jobs, now is the chance to explore your options. Check out beautyjobs.com now!

Organizing my files

I better start organizing my files as well as my back-ups. I don’t want to lose my files again just in case my laptop conks out on me again. That’s just really such a hassle. I’m thinking of getting a bigger external hard drive to devote to photography. Pictures really take up a lot of space. I’m also starting to revive my multiply site and uploading my photos there. It’s hard to maintain a photoblog and it’s more efficient to just keep my photos in albums in multiply. Organizing my stuff can really be very tedious but I know it would be so much efficient once I get this done.

productive

I’m so happy to be so productive today! I actually made 15 paid posts and 25 non-paid posts in the course of my 5-hour stay at Starbucks. That’s pretty productive, huh? Atleast I was able to finish all my pending posts. Hopefully I get to get more opps pretty soon. I’m just really loving my new sites with page ranks. I actually have other ones with page ranks but I don’t think I would be able to keep up with the paid posts if I make use of all those. I’m just reserving them just in case Google plays God again and take off my page rank on the sites I used for paid blogging.

Hundred Islands

Thanks, friends, for the great quick get-away! I had a blast at hundred islands! I hope to have more vacations like this.

I'll be uploading more pictures pretty soon. Here's a sneak peak.

powerbroker

Are you in the IT environment? Do you use Linux? If security is such a concern for you, I suggest you get the help of powerbroker. Check out their site and read on how they can help you out. They can provide you with UNIX/Linux user account management among other services that they can offer. They can provide you with the solutions that you may be looking for. Visit symark.com for more information. I’m sure they would be able to help you out and provide you with the security administration solutions that you need. You would be able to handle your access control issues pretty well.

more opps

It was such a nice treat that when I woke up this morning, there was an overload of opps available at blogitive and I was able to click 20 opps at $5 each. That’s a total of $100! That’s really pretty cool! Well, I would have to finish them within 48 hours and put 2 non-paid posts in between. It does require hard work. But it’s still considerably easy money! I love blogitive!

New movies

There are a lot of new movies released lately. There’s The Happening, Get Smart, and Incredible Hulk. Have you watched any of those? What do you suggest that I watch? It’s irritating how expensive watching movies have gotten already. I remember it was just around Php 50 when we were still in High School when we even sometimes watch 2-3 movies in a row! Now, it’s almost triple the price! Oh well. That’s why I sometimes just resort to downloading movies online and just picking the super nice ones to watch on the big screen.

options

Times like these, one must be really smart on how he spends his money and what he does with the extra. If you want to be able to reach your financial goals, one must do the extra step of investing and not just rely on the bank’s interest which may not even be enough to cover inflation. Maybe you need an options screener to help you in stock trading. It’s a matter of deciding smartly where to invest. If you do things right, you just might hit big fortune that you have been wanting to get. Check out poweropt.com. They actually have a 14 day trial which you can use for free to check out their system.

The Happening

Have you watched it?

I have seen the trailer a couple of times and I have been very curious what was causing the people to die. Well, I know it’s showing already and haven’t gotten the chance to watch it yet. I’m tempted to read reviews, but somehow I want to watch it without knowing any spoilers. A friend of mine said it was disturbing. Hmmm… I wonder if I’ll get to watch it at the movies. Maybe I’ll just download it instead.

Another Manny Pacquiao Fight

Once again, the Filipino nation would be united on Sunday as we watch Manny Pacquiao fight David Diaz. I’m sure President Gloria is very thankful for having Manny around to somehow diver t the people’s attention from all the issues surrounding our country. Somehow I sometimes wish that Manny would lose just to see what happens. Oh well. But I think there’s no doubt Manny would win this fight. It’s just a matter of determining what round. I bet the value of the peso would strengthen right after the day of his fight.

investing

I hope I have the extra money to invest in silver coins or ingots. That would be pretty cool to invest on. I am sure it would cost so much more in a matter of years! Do you know anybody who is into these kinds of investments? I think it would be nice to hear from those who successfully earned from their gold and silver investment. I know it takes a lot of years to be able to reap more from your investment. Well, maybe you can consider that as your retirement funds. Just let your gold and silver earn for 20 or more years. I’m sure by that time they would be worth a lot already.

On Ces Drilon’s kidnapping

I wonder if ransom was indeed paid just so she and the others would be set free. If the kidnappers were indeed paid ransom, I wonder how much they were paid. How much does Ces Drilon cost? Who paid for it? ABS-CBN? I’m sure that everything would be done to ensure her safety. I can just imagine the effect on our country’s reputation if something bad happened to her. We can’t afford that right now, with all the crises our country has been undergoing already. Oh well. I’m just really curious what transpired just to free Ces Drilon and company.

Spiral

Finally, I was able to try out the buffet line at Spiral! I have been craving to try out their acclaimed buffet and I finally did! I know it’s a bit expensive but it’s just something that a foodie like me cannot seem to resist to at least try out once. I was not disappointed at all. The food was just superb! It doesn’t matter if you’re into chineese, Japanese, Italian, etc. since you’ll surely find a lot a lot of entrees that your taste buds would surely love

parenting

I have always loved kids! I have taken care a number of my cousins when they were still babies. I really enjoyed it even if they were such cry babies. Well, I know it’s pretty much different if it were really your own kid that you’re taking care of. It’s not just a matter of changing diapers of giving them milk. Parenting is much more than that. It certainly can get scary. Nobody wants to be a bad parent. It’s great that there are a lot of parenting resources one can get hold of to provide guidance in raising a kid. These resources can really be a big help!

grocery

My mom would be out of the country for over a month. That means I would be the one in charge of the food while she’s away. She gave a pretty decent budget so we don’t have to worry of getting hungry. I’m actually a bit excited to do the groceries and plan the food each day. I better list down the menu so I can better plan what to buy at the grocery. I just love going through the aisles and picking all the stuff that I need and filling up my shopping cart.

treating myself

I have been on a shopping mode lately. It’s even more tempting now since my credit card company has increased my credit limit once again! I really should be cutting down on my purchases. Although I still need to buy a couple more things that I need. But I promise that afterwards, I would rest my wallet for awhile. I think I deserve those purchases. I’ve been working hard lately and it’s great to treat one’s self once in awhile, right?

destination weddings

Where do you want to get married? Have you even thought about it? It looks exciting to have one of those destination weddings. Well, it may be more expensive and more things to think about but I think it would be pretty cool to have it at the beach. I have seen a site of Karisma Hotels and potential venues for a wedding. It looked so romantic! The beach would provide a perfect background, together with pretty nice sunset. Oh well. That would certainly be a nice ceremony for a celebration of love. Your guests would have such a great time as well!

wanchai

Me and my sweetie just love eating at buffets. We’re such foodies! It’s the common passion that we have. We recently ate at Wanchai at Tomas Morato. The ground floor is for those ordering ala carte. You would have to take the elevator to go to their buffet station. It’s worth it at Php280 since it includes drinks already. In case you are craving for something Chinese, visit the place and I’m sure you’ll get the fill that you’ve been craving for!

ateneo vs lasalle game

I’m so excited for the UAAP to start. I’m looking forward to watching the first ateneo versus la sale game this season. I checked out ticket net and said that they would only start selling tickets for that particular game by July 1. The game is scheduled for July 6. I’m sure a lot of ateneans and lasallians (or is it lasallites?) are looking forward to the game. I’m sure it would be action packed! I just love Ateneo – La Salle games even if I’m not from any of those schools.

foot care product

Are you prone to blisters? I actually am and I really hate it since it really hurts. It’s a good thing I encountered this certain Foot Care Product. You can make use of ENGO patches to prevent them. It really saves your foot from undergoing blister pain. I should have gotten this a long time ago. Well, I’m just glad that I did already. Our feet are usually neglected. It’s being used a lot so one must take care of it more consciously. It’s great that there are products like ENGO which gives attention to our feet. I know I got ugly feet so I need those foot care products. Getting foot spas are not enough. There should be a daily thing regimen in order to have nice feet.

planning

I have been to Batangas, Pangasinan, Baguio, Laguna, Nueva Ecija, and Pampanga, making me reach my initial quota of 6 provinces this year. But I have yet to accomplish going to Dumaguete – Siquijor – Bohol which I have been planning since last year but haven’t pushed through yet. Well, I hope I do get around to doing more traveling for the rest of the year. It looks like I need to work doubly hard to finance all these travel plans. Well, that's ok. I'm sure the trips are all going to be worth it.

good deed

There are circumstances when we encounter situations when we can help other people. It’s a personal feel good thing when you get to help another person without anything in return. I gladly helped this total stranger and didn’t accept the payment she was willing to give me. Just a mere thank you was good enough for me.

easy for doctors

Are you a doctor? Is it hard becoming a doctor? It seems like you have to memorize millions of stuff to become one. That’s probably the reason why I did not pursue medicine anymore. I hate memorizing. I would rather do math and all those calculations rather than memorize stuff. What if a doctor forgets about something? Does he bring out his medical books infront of his patients? That would be a weird scenario. You would not probably go back to a doctor who does that. Well, I guess doctors are now more very fortunate and somehow gives them a bit of slack by having those free medical windows mobile software that they can upload in their PDA and make use of for medical reference. That really helps out a lot I think. I cannot imagine being able to memorize a lot of that stuff. I guess having these technology available would help them become better doctors.

Lifehouse!!!

Oh My God!!! Lifehouse is having a concert at the big dome next month (july 26 )!!! I wish I would be able to watch it! I can just imagine them singing Everything and You and Me live!!! I’m so sure I’ll get goose bumps and probably go teary eyed watching them perform live! I wonder how much the tickets cost. I hope my friends are as excited as I am and would actually want to watch them as well! *sigh* It never fails to give me that certain feeling whenever I hear You and Me. It just really makes me sigh.

chocolates

It seems that I have been getting more inquiries for my chocolates. I should really start making a multiply site for it already. Hopefully I get the time to actually make more samples and take pictures of them so that customers will have more idea what other variations I can offer. My chocolates are great for souvenirs for special occasions like weddings, baptismal, birthdays, etc. I can customize however you want them done. You can have them plain or with choco fudge filling or probably rice crispies and mallows. I can customize the packaging as well.

I’ll keep you guys updated when I have finally gotten to organize a separate multiply site for my chocolates.

kava kava

Have you tried out kava kava? It is one of those safe herbal supplements. If you are so stressed with your work why not drink this made out of kava root. They say it helps out a lot in easing stress. Everybody should probably drink this since I think all of us feel stress in our lives, just differing in levels. Anyway, they grow these stuffs in Hualalai Mountain. It’s an all natural thing! It’s really amazing how nature works its wonders by providing us with all natural alternatives for healing. Check out konakavafarm for more information about their products. They also sell Hoodia Gordonii.

new favorite

I’m not really much of a coffee drinker. I would usually just order Zen or Basic Black Iced Tea from Starbucks. Somehow I feel guilty drinking frappes already. In any case, I would usually pass up the cream. I can just imagine all the sugar and calories in just one drink. Anyway, I recently have a new favorite. I have been ordering Iced Caramel Macchiato lately. I know caramel adds so much calories, but it’s somehow a comfort drink for me so I don’t really mind! Hehe!

magnolia

I am just so in love with the scent of Magnolia from Marks and Spencer body wash. It just smells so heavenly and makes me want to stay in the shower longer. It’s such a light scent and makes one’s skin so supple. It certainly does make taking a bath so much more fun. Well, it’s just annoying that it’s so hot that 5 minutes after you’ve gone out of the bathroom and you’re sweating already. Anyway, I just bought another one awhile ago. I can’t wait to use it already! Hahaha!

memory card

With all the pictures I have been taking lately, it seems that my memory cards are almost all filled up. Well, I guess I need to buy a bigger one. I need to organize first my photographs and categorize them accordingly. I need to keep a separate copy for the master files (unedited ones) for future use. I’ll probably get an external drive with bigger capacity to accommodate all my photos and even videos that I have been downloading.

debut preparations

I am helping plan for my cousin’s 18th birthday. I know she is very excited already. We have already found a venue. They have in house catering already so atleast that’s another thing crossed out from our things to do. There are still a lot of things to think about like her gown, birthday invitations, cake, and souvenirs. Well, we still got lots of time. I’m sure we’ll be able to pull off a pretty nice debut party for her.

cheap pills

Are you looking for some cheap Phentermine? Or are you using other diet pills? In case you are interested in these stuff, I suggest that you visit and read information at consumerpricewatch.net. I’m sure you will find there a lot of useful information about these products and would help you determine which to buy. It’s so helpful being able to read reviews since it gives you a better idea about the product that you are buying.

Series of Training Sessions

For the past three weeks I have been traveling and training teachers. Here’s my busy training schedule for the past three weeks. It was definitely pretty tiring, but I feel some sense of achievement for being able to train teachers who would then be teaching children. I really do hope that they learned a lot from me.

May 21 – May 23: San Pedro, Laguna (Topic: Project Management)
May 26 – May 24: San Jose, Nueva Ecija (Topic: Grade 1-6, Desktop Publishing, Office Productivity)
June 2 – June 3: San Fernando, Pampanga (Topic: Office Productivity, Grades 1-6)
June 4 – June 5: Angeles Pampanga (Topic: Office Productivity, Photography and Moviemaking)

in need of glasses

My doctor said that I better start wearing eye glasses when it can still be corrected. Actually, when he checked it, my left eye seems to be more blurry than the right. I actually got myself a pair of glasses already but I just can’t seem to get into the habit of wearing it. Well, I just really hope that my eye condition doesn’t get worse. I don’t want to end up needing to get a Lasik surgery. Well, at least the technology is there so I don’t really need to worry much about it, just in case.

cat stuff

We have three cats in the house. Whenever the dogs and cats are at each other’s throats, they would usually run around the house and toppling things down. I guess it would be better that the cats have their own place to stay. I saw some picture of cat condo and types of furniture where the cats can stay and sleep. I’m sure devoting a place just for the cats would lessen the probability of vases toppling down.

more training

I just got back from Nueva Ecija where I trained 10 teachers for TechFactors. I taught them the suggested curriculum for computer for grades 1-6 as well as for high school (1st to 3rd). I wasn't able to include Java anymore since that would take another 5 days.

It was a pretty long trip going there, buti na lang hinatid ako. I stayed at San Jose, Nueva Ecija from monday-thursday. I checked in at Hotel Tierra where I was able to taste Tapang Usa and Tapang Baboy Damo! The place isn't much but atleast it was decently clean. They also have a veranda which has a nice view of the mountains.

Tapang Baboy Damo with Egg and Sinangag - Php95.00

There weren't too many places to go to there, but their Cathedral looks really magnificent, it's one of the oldest in our country.

It was a pretty tiring since I was training from 8 am til 5 pm. Anyways, I'm glad it's over. Hopefully they learned a lot and get to apply those learnings. Next week, I'll be off to Pampanga for more training.

Orlando vacations

Every kid’s dream is to be able to go to Disneyland. The time spent with kids having a fun afternoon with Mickey and the gang is truly priceless for your little ones. Orlando, Florida is a fine place for a having fun-filled holiday with your family. In Orlando, you can park-hop from Downtown Disney® Pleasure Island to Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex. 1. Orlando vacations can be easily booked online and are very much hassle-free. It’s never been better to be a kid than now.

dehumidifiers

The rainy season has once again arrived and most houses will inevitably have that cold and wet feeling inside their homes. This is especially true for homes or establishments that have been unluckily flooded because of the continuous rains. Ebac dehumidifiers are a great way to remove moisture in a specific area. Some units are available for areas that cover ten thousand square feet. These units are of the industrial type and will work doubly hard for conditions wherein serious need for dehumidifying is considered necessary.

old house

I just realized how long I haven’t visited our grandparents’ house. We used to live there til, I think, I was around 4 years old. I wonder how it looks like already. Since we already have our own house and my grandparents died already a couple years back, we barely get to visit the house already. We still have other relatives living there. I just hope that they are taking good care of the place. I loved our patio where we usually hang out in the afternoon. Maybe it would be nice to have a new patio furniture so it would have a new look. Maybe one of these days we can drop by and see if the house is well maintained.

new watch

I used to have lots of watches. My dad would often give me one whenever he comes home from abroad. I remember having those watches with nice straps. They really look nice. Anyways, it’s been such a long time since I last wore a watch. I feel like wearing one again. I was browsing at some sites for watches like glashutte watches and Hublot. There are a lot of nice designs that I really liked which made me want to have a new watch even more. Maybe I can buy myself a new one or probably just wait for someone to gift me a new watch! Hint! Hint! Hahaha!

Of course a Rolex or a Bulgari can be too expensive. I’m not that ambitious and I find it too much to be gifted with such things. And besides, I’m not really into branded things. I mean, I would not really prefer something over another based purely on its brand. Of course there’s design, color, and quality that I would probably consider when choosing a watch. I’m really a practical person. Hehe! Anyway, maybe having two watches wouldn’t hurt. One would be for everyday use when I go out and one would be something fancier for formal affairs.

pending books

I still got several pending books that I plan to read. Hopefully I get to finish Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged pretty soon. I still have a couple of books borrowed from a friend which I haven’t even touched yet. Oh well. I wonder when I would get to finish all of them. Anyway, I’m thinking of buying a photography book – probably Understanding Exposure.

falling slowly

I am so addicted to the song falling slowly lately. It’s from the Irish movie, “Once”. It actually won Best song in the Oscar’s. I just love its melody, just like a lullabye. I feel a bit melancholic listening to it. Besides the song, I loved the movie as well. It was a great music trip. Others may probably don’t like the ending, but it was as real as it gets for me. I wouldn’t want any other ending than that.

Take this sinking boat and point it home, we’ve still got time
Raise your hopeful voice you have the choice
You make it now

say no to drugs!

We have heard a lot of times about some celebrity getting brought to a drug rehab due to their addiction. Well, I’ve browsed sites of these rehab centers and I must say, they have the finest facilities. It’s not so bad at all to spend a few days in a place like that! Anyway, I was curious what they actually do with you when you are checked in. Well, like for a drug rehab in Malibu, they don’t actually have a standard drug rehab program since they customize it depending on the patient. I think it’s better this way since what may work for some may not work for others.

flowers on mother's day

My sweetie’s family has become close to my heart already. They’re like my real family already. Even his aunts and uncles treat me like family as well and would usually invite me to special family occasions. I’m not yet sure though what their plans for the coming Mother’s day would be but I’m already planning to give my sweetie’s mom and grandmother each a bouquet of flowers. I know they liked what I gave for Valentine’s! I wonder what kind of flowers I will give this time. The last time I picked a bouquet of flowers, it took me a long time to finally pick which to buy! I better have an idea already the next time I go to the flower shop!

no need to explain

I am thinking about my decisions in life and the kind of career path that I am taking. It looks like it’s the road less traveled one is the path for me. I am just really having a hard time explaining to people what I want to do with my life. Others feel that I am wasting my life since I got really good education and I am not putting it into use. Oh well. It’s just really great that my sweetie understands me and supports me all the way. I think my family understands also. I guess my peers are the ones who don’t. It’s like they expect a lot from me. Anyway, I don’t want to trouble myself about this anymore. As my sweetie said, I do not need to explain myself to anybody. Those who love me don’t need any explanation, that they would just respect my decisions in life and support me all the way.

foreclosure help

I have heard a lot of stories of those having problems with their mortgages. It looks like a lot of people are having a hard time paying up and have received a couple of letters from their mortgage company and are in danger of losing their homes already. I know it sucks to be in a situation like that. Fortunately, there are companies who offer foreclosure help. I’m sure you would appreciate any help that can save your home, right?

vacation

Have you been to Riviera Maya? I have read a lot of great reviews about it. A number have been raving about their white sand secluded beaches! There are numerous accommodations you can choose from just like Azul Beach Hotel, Azul Blue Hotel + Spa, El Dorado Seaside Suites, and El Dorado Royale Resort. Besides enjoying the nice ambiance of the place, I’m sure you would love the gastronomically pleasing food that they are offering as well. With great services as well, I’m sure you’d have a really nice memorable vacation here. You might even end up craving to stay there when your vacation is about to end rather than go back to your usual normal life.

debut cake

We have also discussed what my cousin’s cake would look like for her debut. Well, she’s dead set on having mini cakes and serving it up to the guests to serve as souvenir as well. She really like the idea when she saw how one of the weddings I was handling used up this kind of concept. Anyway, we’re still in the process of sourcing up a supplier which can deliver delicious mini cakes at a cheaper price than other main stream suppliers.

debut invitation

We already have an idea what her invitation would look like. We plan to D-I-Y it instead. We’ve already made a mock up of the envelope which actually looks like a peach mango pie container. We’ve bought a couple of materials for it already which would match her color motif (baby blue and apple green). Anyway, I hope it turns out to be pretty looking.

more flowers

I accompanied last weekend friends of my sweetie who are getting married pretty soon to a local florist. They wanted to get an idea how much it would cost them for the flowers of their entourage. There are a lot of places who sell flowers like wholesale roses which you can buy pretty cheap. Wholesale doesn’t necessarily mean they’re inferior. They’re can also be of good quality. These are just cheaper to buy for weddings and other events where you need some floral decorations. Buying in bulk, in general, is really the cheaper way to go. Anyway, my friends seemed to like the flowers they are offering and ended up paying down payment already.
