I think there's something wrong with my brother's dog's leg. It's a bit inflamed and sometimes the dog would wince in pain. I remember my past boss and his passion for golf. His eyes really lights up when golf is the topic. You really can tell how much he is into the sports. The other bosses says that whenever he plays golf, he would really be so into it that he would be wearing those matching golf clothes and shoes. My hubby's cell has conked out on him already. The LCD is busted and you can't see anything from the screen. You can only hear when there is an incoming text but you wouldn't be able to read it. Anyway, he's had it for several years already and has served him well. I guess it was just really a matter of time before it gets replaced. He initially bought a temporary phone since he's waiting for their company phone. He still doesn't know what model he'll get. His company is taking advantage of those mobile phone deals. getting old

When one gets old I think companionship really matters. You’ve probably lived your life, hopefully, to the fullest and somehow just taking it easy and just enjoying what’s left of it. Others may have a hard time understanding you and somehow you just feel that you want somebody who can relate to you. It would be great if you still have a partner you can share the joys of life with. I guess more than the physical thing, one would probably look for someone you could talk to and share ideas with when you get older. This may not be easy for some. Lucky for those who have that kind of partner.

Just the other day, I was with a friend and she asked me if I was familiar with this certain song. I didn’t have any idea what it was. Then it dawned on me that I haven’t listened to the radio for the longest time. I don’t even watch MTV anymore. I guess the only time I get to listen to music is when I’m riding in a taxi and the radio is on. I haven’t listened to any of my mp3s for the longest time as well. And I asked myself why and I just didn’t have any answer. Too lazy to even open my media player? I dunno.

a good run

I would really love to join a marathon, not necessarily a full but probably a 3K run for starters. I was supposed to join one but I found out a day before that I was pregnant! Anyway, I still went with my hubby who ran a 10K but I just stood by the sideline to take his pictures. There were a lot of people and a lot of sponsors who were giving away customized products. Anyway, I hope I can go for a quick run soon. It would be nice to go jogging with my daughter when she grows up.

Dad has been building a vacation house in our province in batangas. He's been doing it little by little and doing lots of DIY stuff. I'm so happy that my friend finally popped the question to her girl friend! Their relationship might not be that long yet, probably just a year, but I've seen them so happy together. I'm looking at eMedia Guitars at Musicians friend. They have starter packs for kids which I'm thinking of giving to a friend's son who's into music and playing the guitar lately. He has been urging his mom to get him his own guitar already. It would really be great to be supportive so he can hone his talents further more. Maybe he would be a great guitarist someday.

It's amazing how much tools my dad has accumulated over the years. He was able to build most of our furniture in our province using his tools. Lately he has been looking for these. I guess he was able to use up all his stock already. He still needs some for his other home projects. He really is a handy man.
