On waiting...
"Waiting is a good thing only if something is worth waiting for. How will you know if it's worth it? Gut feel. What if you don't trust your gut? Pray. You will be enlightened. Trust me. Is it wrong to expect while waiting? It's not wrong, but it will increase your chances of heartbreak and disappointment if things don't work out in the end. Is it good to expect while waiting? It is better to hope. What's the difference between hoping and expecting? Hoping means you're open to either side of the coin landing though you're more inclined to believe that things will turn out well. Expecting means you're thinking single-track, which won't do you much good at all. What's the difference between waiting and expecting? Expecting is waiting for something to definitely happen. Waiting is staying where you are, but not necessarily expecting something to happen definitely.
Do you need assurance from someone you're waiting for while you're waiting? Ideally, yes. But realistically, do you really want assurance from this person? It's so easy to just point at something and make that the reason why you're waiting. With waiting, all you really can rely on are three things: your gut feel, your heart and mind. Just yourself, not on anyone else. So should you wait? What does your gut say? How does your heart feel? What does your mind think? If they're saying different things, keep asking yourself these three questions (and pray) until you get a solid answer.
Then you'll know if he or she is worth waiting for."

Wedding gown for sale
Hi girls!
I'm selling a Nicolina designer gown that was bought from Brides of Melbourne (GPO, Melbourne, VIC Australia).
Brand: Nicolina
Style: Wistful
Condition: Excellent (used once)
Material: Dupion Silk
Color: White
Neckline: Strapless (with detachable halter strap)
Silhouette: A-line
Size: AUS 10-12, will fit a small medium to medium body
Retail Price: $$$$
The gown is very simple yet elegant and anyone will find it very beautiful. The front of the dress is gathered at the side. This actually creates an illusion of a flat tummy! There are scattered beading on the train, creating a quilted effect. The train can be shortened by creating a bustle with a built in hoop and button.
The gown was originally size AUS 10 (US6 / US Small / UK8) and I am a size 12 (US8 / US Medium / UK10) but it fit well. I had it altered so that instead of a zip-up, the dress would be lace-up (corset-type). This way, even if I shrink a size smaller or grow a size bigger, the dress will still fit perfectly. The gown was also shortened – it is floor-length for a 5'4" bride wearing flats.
Pictures of the gown from the wedding: http://tserivdd.multiply.com/photos/album/37/Faye_and_Herbies_Wedding
Official site (Nicolina - wistful): http://www.nicolina.com.au/nicolina-bride-silk-allure-collection.html#
Selling price is 30K (negotiable). The dress has been dry-cleaned and placed in the original Brides of Melbourne full-length dress cover. I will throw in an elbow-length veil, 2 pillows (both white) for the rings and arrhae, the secondary veil, cord, and pouch. The items can be picked up at my hubbie's house in Pasay City, or he can meet up with you in Metro Manila.
If you are interested, or knows anyone who is, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me or my hubby. As I am now in Melbourne, I will not be able to personally hand over the items, but I am contactable and my hubbie will be able to assist you with your queries.

2007 in Review
1) Where did you begin 2007? I usually start my new year with my family. January 1 is also my mom's birthday.
2) What was your status by Valentine’s Day? Happy with my sweetie!
3) Were you in school anytime this year? Nope.
4) How did you earn your money? I decided to resign from my corporate job at the end of February. I'm now doing paid blogging, wedding coordination, and sometimes selling chocolates and beads as well.
5) Did you have to go to the hospital? Unfortunately yes, I had ear problems. My left ear was almost deaf for a few weeks.
6) Did you have any encounters with the police? Nope.
7) Where did you go on holidays? I usually just spend it at home.
8) What did you purchase that was over $1000? Good thing my shopping powers haven't reached that limit.
9) Did you know anybody who got married? Oooh! a lot! My wedding coordination clients: Sierra & Anton, Rax & Russel, Faye & Herbie, and Dawn & Leo. Pati friends din: Dyan & Gary.

casino
I miss playing online casino. Yep, I have tried it already. I usually just use play money mode since I can’t afford to lose so much money. I just play leisurely some casino games like poker, which is my favorite. I also play blackjack and roulette once in awhile. Playing these games can really be addicting. It would probably be nice to play in some vegas casino.

things to do
Anyway, as the new year arrives I've been trying to write down and set goals my for 2008. And just looking at my list, looks like that I still got so many things that I want to do with my life. Hopefully I get to achieve all of those. Well, I'm still finalizing my list. Maybe I'll share them with you pretty soon.
Shocks! I've got so much to blog about! Hopefully, with a less tighter schedule I would be able to post more regularly (with quality content). I know I need to reorganize my blogs badly so that I don't end up with a site just full of paid posts. Just give me this month. Hopefully I'll be able to get a few domains and my own web hosting.
I still can't decide whether to pursue my trip to dumaguete. There's another trip being organized to Coron which I really wanna join (pero malamang hindi na rin). Then there's another photo-tour being organized for Feb. A friend is also inviting me to go to Bohol! *sigh* I wish I can join all those, but I think I need to be smarter with handling money, specially after me and my hunnie have discussed how we can save up for our own wedding.
