I remember being taught in high school some ballroom dancing which I really enjoyed. My favorite besides the swing is the salsa dance. It’s so fun to dance. I can’t blame those who are crazy over some salsa dancing. There’s even a world salsa championship! I’m sure all the salsa fanatics are looking forward to this!

gym

One of the things I wanted to improve on for 2012 was my health so I could get pregnant. I enrolled in a gym to enable me to have a proper workout regimen. I especially enjoyed joining the body jam, body combat, and yoga exercise group classes. I also take time to use the sauna after every gym session. I really feel good afterwards. I hope I get to go to the gym again after I give birth. But then again if I will be exclusively breastfeeding our baby I think that would take a long time to happen. It's good that you can burn 500 calories a day when breastfeeding!

cigars

Hubby had fun when he encountered some cigars sampler. He's been planning to light some when our baby comes out to celebrate her coming but he doesn't know anything about cigars. Haha! He was able to try some finally and was able to determine which falls under his taste. Well, I just hope he doesn't get addicted to lighting cigars. Those are only meant for momentous events.

christmas tree

I was so busy the previous Christmas that I wasn’t even able to help put it up. I just got home and saw the tree already put up with all the decorations. It was really pretty but I felt a bit sad since I wasn’t there to enjoy putting it up and decorating it. The next Christmas would hopefully be different. I’m already excited to shop for new balls and ribbons!

Hubby and I are still discussing whether to get assembled kitchen cabinets or have them custom made. There are a lot of designs available already which are stylish. I guess it would all boil down to the cost. Although of course picking assembled ones already are much more efficient. And at least you already know how it would look like. You might get a bit disappointed when you have custom made ones and they don't turn out the way you imagined it to be.

looking forward to 2013

Anyway, as the new year arrives I've been trying to write down and set goals my for 2013. And just looking at my list, looks like that I still got so many things that I want to do with my life. Hopefully I get to achieve all of those. Well, I'm still finalizing my list. Maybe I'll share them with you pretty soon. I hope I get to accomplish all of my goals and more. I'm so looking forward to the next year! I'm sure it would be an awesome year! I intend to make it as such!

Manny Pacquiao’s fight which is coming up pretty soon is one of the most awaited matches in the boxing industry this year. It would really be fun watching live! I’m sure my sweetie would have a blast if he had ring side tickets. For sure hotels Las Vegas have would be pretty full with all those who wants to watch the fight live. I heard the tickets are almost sold out. Oh I would really love to go to Las Vegas to watch.

renovation

We're delaying looking for kitchen sink faucets since it make take awhile before we can proceed with the renovation of our condo unit. With the baby coming, there's just a lot of related expenses that we need to prioritize. We wouldn't want to start the renovation only to put it into a halt in case our budget won't be enough. If only we can win the lotto, then it would be so much easier to proceed with our planned renovation.

Hehehe! …not the grand prize though, I only got 3 numbers right. The prize for that is just Php100. It could’ve been 4 numbers if I included my sweetie’s birthday which would be equivalent to Php1,000 prize. Oh well. The winners are really lucky, the pot was big! Do you want to visit Orlando? I do! I want to go to disneyland! I wonder when we could go... We still don't have a US visa yet and it's something that we really need to save up for. I'm sure it would be a great trip to have. Maybe when our kid is around 4 years old we can plan for that already. Kids really enjoy going to Orlando with all the theme parks all over. Even adults would feel like kids again and enjoy this amazing place!

Hubby and I are starting to scout for stuff for our baby. It's really exciting to go shopping, but only if you have lots of funds. For us, it's really a bit challenging and we have to resist on splurging. We need to prioritize what we really need to buy. Maybe we can get a lullaby earth crib mattress but we still need to decide whether we should do co-sleeping and have her sleep with us on our bed.

becoming a mom

Now that I'm going to be a mom soon, I'm slowly absorbing the duties and responsibilities that comes with it. It can really be overwhelming whenever I think about them. Sometimes I even ask myself if I'm really ready for it. Well, ready or not ready, I'll surely be trying my best to be the best mom for our baby. It makes me really appreciate my mom more now, with all the hardships she went through for us. She really deserves to get even a fantasy trophy for everything she has done!

I have had bride clients who are very particular with their flowers. One loves roses. Another likes anything except mums. Me? I would love to have tulips and carnations for my bridal bouquet while the church will be filled with either white calla lilies or white and red roses. I have recently watched National Treasure: Book of Secrets and I say I had loads of fun watching it. Anyway, the movie was really great. I just loved how everything unfolded. Hubby and I are discussing what type of sofa to get for our condo unit. It's such a small place so we have to plan very carefully which furniture to put. We were thinking of getting a leather one so that it would be better to clean, especially considering that we would be having a kid on the way already. But then we might have to deal with leather sofa repair in case our kid would often be jumping up and down the sofa and playing there all the time. Oh well. Looks like it’s the time for our age group where we get invited to each others’ weddings, baptisms and birthdays of kids of our friends. It’s just so exciting. Time has passed by so fast. Just last night I got a text from a friend that she just got engaged! How fun is that?! And another friend is on the way already! She’s 3 months pregnant! That’s another blessing to look forward to! With the heavy rain going on, a lot of classes were suspended for around 4 days. A friend's child has been urging her to buy ps3 games so they can have more games to play while they do not have classes. Too bad for the kid, the roads were flooded and they couldn't go to the mall.

I love watching movies but going to movies have become so expensive already that sometimes it’s more economical to just watch dvds at home. It’s pretty cool that we can make use of our projector in order to have that movie-like experience. But it would be much cooler to have some home theater seating! I’m sure friends and family would rather watch at home rather than go to movies.

I would love to go back to Enchanted Kingdom. I know Disneyland is way much better, but then it’s the closest I can get to a good theme park. I hope I'll have the guts to go into a driving school soon. I know it would be such an accomplishment for me when I learn to drive. Well, not just drive, but know the ins and outs of a car. I envy women who are good in driving. I don't think I can ever drive. It's one of my fears really. I feel like I'm going to get into an accident if I drive on my own. The buses and motorcycles just gets to me. I feel like if they come any closer, I'd eventually bump into them and I would just freak out and won't know what to do. Well, I may probably just be overreacting since I haven't really tried driving. But just thinking about it is enough to scare me. Oh well.

My hubby's hand is hurting lately. He used to be injured in that hand when his bike fell on it. But it has been feeling fine until last night again. Maybe he would need to take traumeel to ease the pain. I have been telling him to consult a doctor on what to do about it so that it would heal soon. I just hope he feels better already. It always worries me whenever something's not right, especially when it's about my hubby's health

I would especially love to see Eiffel Tower myself. Well, for sure I wouldn't be able to afford to live there for long. I'm sure I'd be able to find some nice hotels where I can temporarily stay. I'm sure there are some france hotels near the louvre and eiffel tower. I wonder what else I can see there. I'm sure I would enjoy the river cruises and museum visits. I think it would be so romantic to have your honeymoon at one of those paris hotels. Hopefully we can afford to go there someday soon! On a normal day I rarely put on cologne or perfume. I'm not much into perfume but I wouldn't mind getting a bvlgari perfume. It really has a nice smell. Maybe I can use that for special events. My hubby and I are still not yet decided whether to bring our bikes in our condo unit or not. Due to the very limited space, we would probably need a hitch bike rack. It might actually still feel a bit cramped even if we hang them by the wall. We’ll probably have to leave them in our current house or probably at my parents’ house. It’s really hard to optimize a very limited space. I hope someday we’ll get to move in a real house with bigger space.

It’s almost like everything’s new. I’m sure students highly appreciate this and would be more excited to go back to school. I personally, would always enjoy the start of the classes. It’s like a brand new start, with the hopes that the new school year would be great and that I would have better grades. Of course it’s not always about studies. One extra reason why one looks forward to going to school is because of classmates and friends. It’s nice seeing them again. Usually the first days are all about catching up and telling stories how each spent their vacation.

My imagination runs wild whenever I get to think about the birthday parties that we would be throwing for our kid/s. I want them to all be awesome. Maybe if we’ll have a boy, we’ll have a cowboy themed party complete with Cowboy Hats and toy ponies. If it’s a girl, there are lots of girly stuff that I can think about, probably some my husband won’t approve of. Haha! I’m just really excited that we’ll be finally having our own kid. We hope we’ll be good parents to him or her. We’ll surely try our best.

There are times when things are beyond our control. Sometime you would really need an auto repair. Sometimes you may meet a vehicular accident, but of course we’re always hoping that we wouldn’t. It’s just unfortunate that no matter how careful you drive but sometimes circumstances occur that you got hit by an irresponsible driver. It would really be beneficial if you have insurance and you know where to bring your car for repair.

Our contractor wants us to decide what type of flooring we would be using for the condo unit. It's one of the toughest decisions since it's a major one and it's not easy to just replace tiles in case we change our minds on our preference. Maybe we can get alloc flooring or those ceramic tiles. We really have to weigh our options and research more and canvass around to give us more information before we finally decide which one to get. I hope we make the right decision.

new puppy

I just adore my brother's new puppy! She's just so cute! I admire my brother for his dedication in taking care of his new pet. He makes sure that she eats the right food, at the right amount, and at the right time. I wonder if he was able to buy already one of those large dog crates. He wants the dog to get used to being put into a cage and being tied up. But most of the time the puppy gets to roam around his room freely. I just hope the puppy grows up to be a good dog. Rottweiler's can be scary we just have to make sure that she grows up being sociable to us.

stuff to move in

Since we just have a limited space for our condo unit, we have to make sure that we evaluate properly what stuff we would be bringing in. Is a coat rack necessary? What shelves and drawers do we need? We have to make sure that we get to optimize every space without making it look too cramped up. We still haven't finalized the design of the unit but it would more or less be just a simple minimalistic one. We hope we get to move in before the baby comes but then again, with all the expenses coming in, I doubt we'd reach that goal.

the heat is on

The weather has been so fickle minded lately. In the afternoon it's so hot and the ceiling fan is always at it's fastest speed just to alleviate the tremendous heat. In the evening it would usually rain, which I actually like since sleeping time becomes cooler. It's nice to snuggle up to the comforter and just listen to the raindrops. Well, I just hope that it would be a bit cooler during the day since we don't have aircon and I'd usually end up all sweaty which makes me tend to go to the mall for the meantime just to escape the heat.

It looks like we would have to cancel our trip to CDO/camiguin. We were so excited for that trip. I was even looking at some Osprey Backpacks I was considering to buy since our travel bag seems to be not in a good shape anymore. But then again, we found out we're pregnant! Traveling to those place can wait. There's so much time to go to those places at some other time. Right now, we just need to focus on our baby and make sure that I'm eating right and taking my meds. We hope and pray that it would be a safe hassle-free pregnancy and that I would give birth to a healthy normal baby. Please include us in your prayers.

It's a bit overwhelming whenever we start thinking about all the baby stuff that we need to buy. There's this nice camo baby beddings that I really like but we need to forgo buying those and prioritize what we need to buy. I just hope we get to save up for all those stuff. We just want the best for our kid. We have been waiting for this amazing moment and finally God has blessed us with our own bundle of joy. We are so much looking forward to finally becoming parents!

It's great that my dad is into woodwork and all those crafty stuff. We just might have him do most of our furniture for our condo unit. What do four overweight people come up of doing while munching on four family size pizzas at the mall? They make a bet on who can lose weight in the next 3 months and agree to make mini-bets each month leading to the final weigh-in. This is what I and my friends thought of doing until next year. To be fair, weight lost will be computed in percentage and not in pounds lost. It’s something that we have put off for too long now and it’s finally time to face the music and move our asses.

I usually take so much time when I look for shoes. I really want something comfortable since I'm heavy and my feet take the beating when I do long walks. I would like to get those wide shoes for women since I've got wide feet and there are styles which don't really compliment my feet. I hope I get to find a nice pair for casual use as well as an elegant one for formal dresses. I would like to have a bit of elevation but I can't stand those pointy heels so I need to find one with a good comfortable base so I can withstand wearing it for a longer period f time.

I used to want to become a doctor. I wanted to become a pediatrician actually since I love kids. I don't know what happened somewhere along the way and I started not to get too keen on pursuing that career. Maybe at some time I started feeling that it's going to take a long time before I really became a doctor and that I would have the patience to wait that long before I get to wear that scrub top and finally become a doctor.

My first job after college is actually working for one of the consultancy groups formed by some of my college professors. It’s about reengineering our country’s courts jurisdictional system. I did enjoy working on it, but it was just a bit hard getting information and data. I envy other places which have a well organized information system where you can easily access records. lost brother

One of the brothers of my mom has been missing for around 15 years already. We actually do not know if he is still alive or not. Of course we’re still hoping that one of these days he’ll just show and everything will be fine. But of course, at the back of our minds, there’s really a big possibility that he’s gone already. We might have to access free death records to verify if something bad has happened to him already. Well, we’re still praying that we’d find him or he’d show up eventually.

Some shirts are really good and I don't really care if some of them are a bit offensive. I just think that a lot of them are really good and fun. I think getting digital recorders are cool. One time I had this project for a community and we needed to interview a city mayor. Well, this guy is really cool and he had a lot of neat things things to say. It would have been nice if we had a recorder and got every bit of what he had to say. It is just not the same as quickly scribbling words on to paper. Also, you can do a lot with a recorder. Great ideas come flashing all the time and it would be nice if you capture it and expound on it when you are ready.

Valentine's is just around the corner and I think some people are googling stuff about sexy corset lingerie. Let's face it.
