educational tools
I believe that kids should be exposed to different multimedia educational tools for more effective learning process. This also makes it more fun for children to learn. It makes them look forward to learning since they enjoy it. There are a lot of kids educational games available which can be used as an alternative way of teaching kids. Studies show that this is actually more effective rather than just using straightforward teaching which can easily bore children. This method usually fails to catch the attention of children whose attention span is really short. One should really make use of creative means when teaching children. Computers can be used for this. There are a lot of educational software and math software that can be used wherein children will surely enjoy using. It builds confidence and enhances critical thinking skills. Using these helps achieve learning success! I remember my dad buying us all these different activity books when we were still kids for math and reading which we really enjoyed answering. Now these are even available as software where you can use in the computer which makes it even more interactive and more fun to use. These can be great gifts to give to children this coming Christmas season.
A few more days to go
Anyway, I'm excited to cook for my friends. I'm still brewing up the menu for my birthday. I hope everybody likes it.
It would be really nice to do some catching up with my friends. Some I haven't seen for months already. It would be a really great treat to see them again on my birthday.

my new camera!
I'll be getting my new camera by December!!! I can't wait! My dad has brought me an Olympus Stylus 770! SW Well, 'll actually be paying for it but I just requested him to buy it for me since it's cheaper to buy abroad. Here's the write-up made about the new camera that I'll be getting:
Introducing the world's most durable digital camera — the Olympus Stylus 770 SW. You can drop it (from 5ft), dunk it (to 33ft), freeze it (-10°C/14°F) or even try to crush it (up to 220lbf), and it will still take amazing photos. But the 770 SW isn't all brawn and no brains. It features a bright 2.5" Hypercrystal LCD so you can easily compose, view and share your images underwater or in direct sunlight. Digital Image Stabilization (DIS) creates sharp, blur-free pictures, even if your subject is moving. And the 27 Shooting Modes, including movie with sound, allow you to master any shooting situation.

10th year already!!!
Hey folks! Next year is our 10th year out of high school (really?!). This is the time we usually start giving back to Pisay, and the time when we are already expected to make a sizeable contribution for the success of Homecoming 2008.
Let's get together to talk things over regarding our funds (or LACK thereof, actually) and what activities we could have for our 10th year. Doesn't really have to be bongga, but definitely we should celebrate somehow.
Please reply to this post with your suggestion for the DATE AND VENUE of our batch get-together (a lunch or dinner, perhaps?), where we can talk about our plans for Year 10. From your suggestions, we could probably make a poll and let folks vote to settle the details. Let our goal be to have this meeting before 2007 ends :D
Salamat! :)

online casino
Oh well, I’ll probably invite them for a poker session on my birthday. That would be really nice. I hope I win good money that day. Hahaha! Well, I just want to see them again and see how they’ve been doing. I hope they would all be available on that day.
Well, I have to practice on those poker skills again. I got to sharpen my strategies. It’s not all about luck! There’s a bit of thought process in it. I’ll probably practice on some online casino. You can either play for real or for play money. Which ever the case, it would be a nice brush up on how to play poker.

shopping online
Since I don’t love the crowd, I love shopping online. It’s much more convenient doing that. No need to go to malls filled with holiday shoppers. No more waiting in line. No more asking for stocks for a different size or a different color. Online shopping is really fun, specially having a virtual shopping cart where you just add all the things that you want to purchase. Their shopping cart software is really great with all the features shoppers would really love. No more waiting in line to pay all of it! Sometimes they even wrap it up for you! Online shopping is really cool!

your room
luxury home
My sweetie’s aunt’s family is moving to another house soon. Her husband has talked to my sweetie about it and is offering it to us since he knows that we’re probably planning on settling down soon. I’m not yet sure what the terms would be but I actually got excited with the thought. I know we sometimes dream of living in luxury homes, but this house ain’t bad, especially for a starting couple. Probably after a couple of years when our family has grown and we’re earning bigger, then we just might be able to get one of those luxury homes.
bluetooth
Don’t you just love the new technology available nowadays? I sometimes really get surprised at how innovative new inventions are in order to provide more comfort to people. It’s amusing how certain gadgets work! Have you tried using a Bluetooth headset? I’m sure you’ll enjoy using a wireless head set, since those wires usually limit our movement. Bluetooth is really cool. I wonder where else we can apply this technology,

Biggest loser
Anyway, me and my sweetie along with his 2 friends decided to have a biggest loser competition. We had already our weigh in last Sunday. Next weigh in would be on Nov 4 (my birthday) and Dec 2. The one with the highest % loss would win 300, 200, and 100 respectively from the lowest, 2nd lowest and 3rd lowest % loss. And then on Jan 6, the final weigh in, the one with the highest % loss would win 1000, 750, and 500 respectively from the lowest, 2nd lowest and 3rd lowest % loss. That's a lot of money! Well, I hope I do get to lose weight from this contest. Gotta come up with a great plan for this. I hope I win!

Sierra and Anton's Wedding
"We would like to express our deepest gratitude for making our wedding really really wonderful. We has such a great time yesterday. Everything was just perfect. Again, thank you very much :) Anton and Sierra"
Were you able to watch Lovapalooza a few years back when this guy proposed to his girlfriend on stage in front of thousands of people? It was even televised. I, myself, was able to see it on TV and couldn't believe I knew these people. They are Anton and Sierra.
I met them at the FOPC (Freshmen Orientation Program Committee) in UP Diliman where we were part of the Steering Committee. I was the head of UP CIEM and Sierra was the head of JPIA. Anton then was one her VP's.
We had several meetings before their wedding to ensure that every detail is taken cared of. It was actually a bit tricky since it's still rainy season and if it rains we'd have to hold everything at the Mango Farm Pavillion instead of outdoors (so that everybody can appreciate how nice the place is)
Sept 29, 2007 - Signal #1 (Typhoon Hannah). Wow, of all the days to have strong rain it had to fall on their wedding day. It was a bad start. I knew my bride was a bit weary already, but then it wasn't in our hands anymore and just had to leave it up to God. I just had to remind her that what really matters is their marriage not the wedding. She just has to let go if we need to go for plan B instead of the original plan.
It was just really great that in the afternoon God seemed to answer all our prayers and the rain stopped. Actually the caterer was a bit hesitant to set up the cocktails outside since it might rain again. Everybody was almost settled that we'll do everything inside the pavillion. It was really a big risk to take but I knew how much my bride wants to have it outside. I needed to push them to set-up at the last minute just in time before the ceremony ended. It was just a relief I made that right decision and nature was cooperative enough to give us a moment to enjoy the ambiance of the Mango Farm.
My pretty bride was beaming. And it felt good seeing her smile.
We were able to have the cocktails by the gazebo near the mango trees and they were able to have their pictorials outdoors. Noel Cabangon was also their to perform during dinner.
It was a pretty tiring day (not to mention that I had to make around 1,500 pcs of chocolate for their souvenirs a couple of days before). But as the event unfolded and things fell into place I was proud that my team was able to pull it through. It also felt great hearing compliments from the guests and the couple themselves.
Getting great feedbacks really takes away all my tiredness. It reminds me why I love doing these kinds of things. Oh and it's a bonus that we're able to book another wedding referred to one of the guests who loved our service!
Cheers to Anton and Sierra!

getting ready for scrapfest
I guess more than the scrapping, I'm more excited about the shopping. Too bad my new earnings have not arrived yet. Although I guess that's a blessing also since I just might end up spending so much during the scrapfest.
It's just really fun seeing all those ladies with the passion for scrapbooks. Some even end up spending 10k shopping for scrapbook materials! I guess when you see all their pretty works you'd understand and say it's all worth it.

hair loss
A lot of men really do have hair problems. I wonder how much it affects their confidence. I know some men can really be vain when it comes to hair not just women. Well, I guess I’d have to refer my dad to this site which gives reviews and compares products to solve those hair loss problems. Let’s see which one he tries out and if it becomes successful.
visiting new house
I love playing with Mateo, their son which is my inaanak also. He's so cute and has a distinct character already even if he's only 8 months old. I also enjoyed watching my sweetie play with him. It gives me a preview how he would be with our kids.
updates
Yey! Good thing ateneo won over UST! I'm excited for the next ADMU vs DLSU game! Even if I'm not from those schools I still enjoy watching their games.
I went shopping with my hubby . I just realized how expensive guys' stuff can get. Women may shop more but when guys do their shopping, it's even more than the amount that women uses up. He cringed when I bought 3 pairs of shoes all at one time. Now it's my time to cringe when he bought a pair of shoes worth 4k plus!!!
gold bars
My hubby has started investing on mutual funds already. I’m planning to invest on those as well. Another thing that we’re considering is investing in gold bars. Not a lot go into these kinds of investments but those who do swear by the great interest their gold bars have earned. Well, we’d have to research more on this before further jumping into this kind of investment. Probably soon we just might start buying those gold bars.

ADMU vs DLSU
I don't belong from any of these schools but I do love watching their games. I was crazy enough to line up for tickets last Thursday to watch at Araneta.
It's really different watching it live. My heart thumps with excitement as they begin beating their drums and cheering their hearts out!
It was really quite an adrenaline rush... for every foul, for every three-point shot, for every missed shot. And with the 7 seconds left at the fourth quarter you can feel the tension in the air. I can just imagine all the prayers said during those final seconds. Alas, Ateneo won. (Although of course they finally succumbed to DLSU last Sunday)

computer help
These forums are also helpful for those who are not so good with all these stuff. I personally wouldn’t know what to do if my pc just suddenly conks out on me. I would usually rely on my brother or my boyfriend who are more computer savvy and would probably know what to do to fix it. There are also forums out there to help you in case you yourself encounter some problems and wouldn’t know what to do. Just browse through it and I’m sure you can get the Computer Help you’ve been looking for. They really do come in handy rather than spend some money and sending your computer to some repair shop. Doing your own fixing can really save a lot of money and time as well. Why let others fix it when you can do it on your own. It is a nice feeling after being able to successfully do it yourself!
